TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 14TH NOVEMBER 2022)
“O God, you have cast us off; You have broken us down; You have been displeased; Oh, restore us again!
You have made the earth tremble; You have broken it; Heal its breaches, for it is shaking. You have shown Your people hard things; You have made us drink the wine of confusion.
You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me.” Psalm 60:1-5 KJV
WELCOME TO THE 318TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE!
The mercies of the LORD are from everlasting to everlasting. If Our GOD were not a merciful, loving, compassionate and just God, we would have all perished. The swelling rivers or spirits of death would have destroyed us.
Our souls are alive today because He has been merciful, compassionate, and just. Yes, our God has been just. That is why the reasons the enemy presented for our destruction did not work. He has been a just God. The Bible says;
“He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.” Deuteronomy 32:4 AKJ
As our rock, He hides us from the storms of life, and gives us a place of grace to hide in other to have a glimpse of His glory. As God of truth, there is no iniquity in Him. That is why when He lives in you, or be by your side, iniquity will never be your ruin.
As a just God, He understands us much more than anyone. He is fair when dealing with our sinful deeds.
He looks into the Spirit realm and takes decisions as the Judge of all, acquitting and bringing us back where we did not wickedly depart from the ways of the LORD, and putting the consequences of our sins on Himself when we depart but return back to Him in repentance.
That explains why the Bible said;
“Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered.
Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit.” Psalm 32:1-2 AMPC
Who will have this kind of a loving God and finds himself or herself permanently in the hands of the enemy? Who will have this kind of a loving God and not be grateful every day?
Many times, I have looked and asked, if Christ had not come to die for us, what would have happened to the human race? We would have self-destruct by now.
THANK GOD HE CAME. THANK GOD HE DIED. THANK GOD HE AROSE.
Thank God He completed our redemption by remitting our sins and pouring upon the earth His Holy Spirit. The Bible says;
“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light.” Colossians 1:12 AMPC
We will not fail to give thanks, yes, we should not!
We have been on a 30-day journey with the Cry of the Spirit on Practical Wisdom. We have ‘heard’ so much from His scriptural Cry on the subject. But there so much more for the remaining days of the journey.
Recently, the LORD has been speaking to us on the things that will never happen if we are not walking in practical wisdom.
We have seen that deliverance should have divine preservation in it, that if deliverance lack divine preservation, it is not deliverance but deceit.
We looked at few hallmarks of deliverance without preservation yesterday. Today we will be looking at hallmarks of deliverance that has divine preservation in it.
Sadly, people are not always ready for this one because it is very free (you do not need to sow any financial seed for it as they say) but it is not cheap. It comes with a cost. It is that cost that we have found many who are in need not knowing and not even ready for.
The cost is the banner or standard the LORD gives us to display because of Truth.
God has 12 apostolic standards, and 12 prophetic standards, according to the 24 elders in Heaven. The standards are not known by many in our generation. They are the very standards He gives us to display because of truth.
When they are displayed, they bring us into the coverage area of the foot print of God’s throne, granting us deliverance with preservation.
FOR INSTANCE, THE EARLY CHURCH HAD NO DELIVERANCE ISSUE BECAUSE OF THE STANDARDS.
Bible history tells us that there was no one among the believers who needed a demon to be casted out of their lives, a curse to be broken, an altar to be pull down or broken or raised.
They were no spirit husbands among them, no spirit wives. No evil pattern or evil foundation. There were no ancestral spirits or generational curses among them. None went on a dry fast to be free from demons.
None went to mountains to pray. None used salt, water, candle, sand, stones, or any of the deliverance inventions we have today in prayer.
None needed to take holy communion or have oil smeared on them so that they can be free. None was due for marriage and its not forth coming. There were no divorces, false marriages, broken homes and etc.
These things are happening to us in Church today because we have no standards or banners to display because of truth. The standards and banners have been buried by the false teachings and prophetic ministries we have today.
But in their days, it was not so.
The standards were standing strong! Hence, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost instead of afflictions, moving in signs and wonders and having rest on every side instead of moving from mountain to mountain.
The only thing they faced was persecution.
Yes, Satan only stirs men to persecute you when he has failed in putting a demonic oppression on you. He failed in putting oppression on them hence turning the heat of persecution on them.
A major portion of our devotional text says;
You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah
That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me.” Psalm 60:4-5 KJV
Our fathers, the early church, were all delivered and saved by the right hand of the LORD because of the banner or 12 apostolic standards that were given to them to uphold. Israel upheld 12 prophetic standards, they upheld 12 apostolic standards. That was what gave both groups deliverance with preservation.
If you want deliverance with preservation find a church that is established on the 12 prophetic standards and 12 apostolic standards. There, you will be imparted with the revelation that will place in your faith the 12 apostolic standards that our fathers displayed because of truth. If you receive and also display them, you will have deliverance with preservation.
SADLY, WE CANNOT FIND SO MANY CHURCHES WITH SUCH STANDARDS.
In fact, I am yet to see a mega church with those standards, maybe there is but am yet to see one.
One major thing you will never see in such a church is the use of oil, sand, salt, or water for miracles and etc. you will not find them using any of the shadows Moses used for healing or deliverance.
Because of the prophetic standards they uphold, you will find them moving in the substance of the shadows and imparting into the lives of men the 12 apostolic standards our fathers upheld that kept them from the evil one.
When you display the 12 apostolic standards, standing on the 12 prophetic standards, you will find yourself in the foot print of the Throne of God.
In other words, God will appoint for you a place in the spirit realm, and plant you there and the sons of the wicked one will not oppress you anymore. Because people who find themselves in the foot print of God’s Throne cannot be oppressed by the sons of the wicked.
The Bible says;
“Moreover, I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously,” 2 Samuel 7:10 NKJV
I believe enough have been shared for the day. There are 12 apostolic standards to display standing on 12 prophetic standards.
They are the very standards the Spirit of GOD has given us to display because the enemy keeps coming to us like a flood. If you do not have them around your life, you will never have deliverance with divine preservation no matter who may be praying or ministering to you.
