TODAY’S DEVOTION (Wednesday 12TH August 2020)
“The wicked have drawn the sword and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to slay those who are of upright conduct.
“Their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.” Psalm 37:14-15 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 223RD DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING
Every day God wakes us up with a fresh word from His throne. This morning, there is a LORD for us. Yesterday He spoke to is about praising Him, but today He will be speaking to us about angelic assistance, especially against our enemies.
Man was originally equipped by the divine to operate from two worlds – the world of the Spirit of God and the natural world. That was why the garden of Eden was a place where these two worlds met. It was a place where the portal of God’s glory opened over earth and shone upon the entire planet.
That was how everything was until sin and Satan changed everything.
Now, in the world of the Spirit of GOD, the world of God’s glory, there are angels available to man for supernatural assistance. These divine beings minister around GOD, His throne, His plans, and purpose. The do not just minister around, they minister for.
One of the purposes of GOD is man. They ministered for man before the fall, and after. They still minister to mankind today, bringing critical interventions to stop the activities of the prince of the power of the air.
THE BIBLE IS FULL OF REAL-LIFE STORIES AND EXPERIENCES GOD’S PEOPLE HAD WITH ANGELS.
The Jewish patriarchs and matriarchs, the prophets and the priests, the kings and the Judges, the people and nations in Bible days could not unleash their destiny without angelic interventions. We cannot be different. If there is a plan or purpose of God for your life, there are angels for its execution.
God do surround His purposes with three classes of angels, depending on what need to be done. The reason for that is simple. The Bible made it clear that angels do the word of the LORD. They are the executioners of God’s will on the face of the earth.
Therefore, for anything to be on earth as written in Heaven, angelic ministration must be required.
For instance, an angel spoke the Word into Mary’s Womb before Jesus was conceived. An angel was used by God to terminate the Childlessness in the marriage of Elizabeth and Zachariah the priest of God.
In those days, when a woman marries and there was no Child, it is considered a sign that God did not approve the union. That was the understanding of the people then. The man whose wife has not given him a child was free to do away with his barren wife.
Apart from believing God, Abraham was considered righteous partly for not following this tradition as regards Sarah’s inability to bear a child. God would later honor his faith.
The High Priest Zachariah, also had the opportunity to do away with his wife, and the society would have seen nothing wrong with it, since it was the norm. But this righteous priest refused to follow the tradition of the day or lean on that understanding, and God honored His righteousness by giving Him a terrific prophet for a Child. An angel was used to execute the miraculous conception.
Also, Angels were responsible for all the plagues that befell Egypt.
The last plague was terrible. The Bible says the LORD Himself passed as an Angel of death, to smash the gods of Egypt, leading to the death of the first born of the land. They died because they were dedicated to the gods, and the gods were under judgment.
THAT DAY, THE HEIR TO THE THRONE OF EGYPT DIED, AND EVERY SUCCESSOR DIED!
Now, a lot of preachers have used this story to forced the false doctrine of “redemption of first born” into the throat of gullible church members. Again, it is important to reiterate that every first born of Egypt were dedicated to the gods of the land.
So, when God smashed the gods, they and every other thing that was dedicated to those gods died. It had nothing to do with the redemption of first born.
The message to glean from here is, “angels can smash the gods of your father’s house killing every one of their activities.” You do not need to take special prophets or intercessors there, just send angels there and it will be okay.
I have seen angels do wonders against ancestral forces. I have also seen prophets and intercessors taken to houses to uproot things, do just the religious thing, eat people’s food and go away with their monies.
Friend, no house a prophet or intercessor visited to uproot anything was free from demonic activities. But every home God’s warfare angles had visited has been set free from any activities of darkness. Instead of taking prophets to your village to uproot anything, lead a Christian life that will keep angels camping in your family home until every devil is neutralized.
When we take the responsibility of angels in our quest for deliverance, we come out with counter attacks. We must stop doing what God ordained only angles to do and start doing only what He ordained us to do.
Most times preachers present satanic activities and make them more real to us than DIVINE ACTIVITIES.
They do this because they do not spend time in the Most Holy Place to know God but read books written by Nigerian Deliverance Ministers that lack apostolic content, hence coming out with all the nonsense.
BUT THE DIVINE IS MUCH MORE PRESENT WITH US THAN THE DEMONIC.
We must therefore stop studying Satan and his works. Because none will ever come out with degree studying him. You will only graduate with an oppression. Do not forget, they that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. They that know the devil shall be exploited.
Let us seek the knowledge of the LORD and what His word tells us about His Holy angels and their activities among us.
Our devotional text this morning says,

What will God use to do this? His angels off course!
God will not allow the enemy to succeed over those who are of upright conduct in His sight. He will not allow the enemy to succeed over those who tremble at the word of the LORD, even the poor and needy. He will use His angels to intervene. If you fall into this category, get set for angelic intervention.
God will use his angels to break their bow and make sure their sword enters their own heart instead of ours. That is why I consider it a loss to always talk about what the devil is DOING instead of what God is SAYING.
The supernatural, either good or bad, is unleashed by revelation of it.
If therefore the works of the devil is what your Church tells you all the time, then you will always be engulfed with them.
But if the knowledge of God’s glory, His kingdom, and Power, and presence of supernatural beings in God’s glory is what your pastor teaches and reveal to you, you will have more of divine activities in your life, putting the satanic completely to rest.
God gets jealous when we over-talk about the enemy while sitting in His house. The reason is simple; He is a jealous GOD. No one can stand the jealousy of God. Not even you! It burns like fire.
There are angels assigned to every aspect of our earthly life, as the redeemed of the LORD. They are God’s mediums of divine intervention in our lives. If we do not talk about them and how to engage them in service, we will freeze their activities among us!
The first way to engage the angels is through praise and then worship. That brings the devotional of yesterday to mind. Go over it again and know that angels answer to us when we declare, affirm, verify, and acknowledge the works of GOD – when we praise GOD.
When righteous people sing and play unto the LORD, angelic intervention is activated. That is why filthy people must not lead or be in your choir. If they do, there may be excitement and shouts but no true angelic interventions.
