THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Sunday 25TH April 2021)

“Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah had done. He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper. 2 Chronicles 26:3-5 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 115TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!

It’s being a week of receiving fresh things from the Throne Room through this devotional. Doubtless, many of us have become wiser than our enemies even as we begin a fresh week today. To God be the praise in Jesus name.

Today, we will be looking at matters of relationship.

You see, there are different kinds of Relationship that will be required to be part of your life in other to succeed in God’s will for your life. One of the most important kind you will need is a kind of relationship called Kingdom Allies.

Kingdom allies could come in form of ministry or Business partners. Sometimes they become spouses if the LORD wishes to make them more intimate with you. Off course that will now mean, a female ally becoming a wife or a male ally becoming a husband.

There are times that God’s kingdom allies come in form of servants of the LORD like it happened to David. If you read his story closely, you will discover that the prophet, Samuel, was both His “pastor” and kingdom ally.

He found another Kingdom ally in the priest of nod that Saul later killed. Both prophets, Gad and Nathan, were kingdom allies and personal prophets to David.

I have come to realize that when God gives you a pastor after His heart, according to Jeremiah 3:15-16, you have been given a more of a kingdom ally and spiritual authority to feed you with knowledge and understanding and help you understand the visions of God for your life.

THE VISION OF HEAVEN WILL BE TO HELP YOU IMPROVE ON YOUR “WALK” AND “TALK” WITH GOD.

If the Kingdom ally and spiritual authority is one with an apostolic and prophetic content, you have already being blessed with someone that will bring you to a realm in God where you will become the ark of God (in the spirit realm), generating His manifest presence wherever you go.

But if you do not know how to position yourself under His ministry, you will not see any of these blessings manifesting in your life. This is where recent devotionals, especially the one of yesterday, are keys.

There is a way to treat a relationship like a Kingdom ally for it to fulfill all God intents that it fulfills in your life. That is what we will be looking at in our devotional this morning.

Again, it pays when God gives you a kingdom ally in a servant of the LORD. He will be more than a man of God to you. He will be a dependable ally.

The primary assignment of kingdom allies is to give us the support we need to achieve a God given goal. It is to be a helping hand where we need one and run with us in all we may be doing.

In simple terms, they are success catalyst or elevation boosters. It depends on when they come into your life, they can also function as divine preservatives, shielding you from corruption, and other forces that do not let us stay for too long at the top.

For instance, most times to get and stay married you will need an ally like Naomi. You know, she was not just a mother in-law to Ruth but a dependable ally. Though she used some of the wisdom of Moab to help her find a husband, which is not kingdom tradition, the Zion things she taught her was why the young Moabite succeeded in her marital life.

To succeed in life either as a king, a husband, a wife, a minister of the gospel, a business man or women, a career person, or even a student, you will need a kingdom ally like the one that Uzziah had when he was king. His name was Zechariah – a man who had understanding in the visions of God.

A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS THIS MAN UZZIAH,

“… sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper.”

The word says, as long as He sought the LORD, God made Him to prosper.

Now, the only way the prosperity of the righteous comes is by seeking the LORD. It comes when we seek the LORD and do only His blessed will. The Bible says as long as this king sought the LORD, the LORD made Him to prosper.

The same report can be given concerning you today!

Maybe you are not prospering in life, and it may not be because you are lazy but because you are not seeking the LORD. You may be seeking money and using the LORD to get it, but not really seeking the LORD. There are those who seek positions in Church in the name of seeking the LORD. It is not good to fake these things my friend.

No one seeks the LORD and lack any good thing. The Bible says,

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalms 84:11 NKJV

Let God be true and all men liars. If you say you are born again and good things are being withheld from you, there is something wrong with your “walk” and “talk” with God. Maybe you need a kingdom ally like Zechariah for a spiritual father to help improve your “walk” and “talk” with God and change your life.

So many Christians are living a hard life because they have a poor walk and talk with God.

Scriptures like Psalm 84:11 are not real in their lives. They do not see good things that ought to be flowing regularly in the life of a Child of God because their walk and talk with God is poor. While many who see what they call good things are actually celebrating the prosperity of hell (the prosperity of the wicked).

THERE IS NEED FOR EVERY END TIME SAINT TO IMPROVE HIS OR HER WALK AND TALK WITH GOD.

That brings us again to the opening comments of this devotional.

Whenever God want to improve your walk and talk with Him He will give you a pastor after His heart with an apostolic and prophetic content. His ministry will be designed to feed you with knowledge and understanding and to bring you to the realm where you can function on earth as the ark of God did in Bible days.

Remember, the ark of God threw down Dagon and made the enemies of the LORD mourn!

It became a fear and a dread to them. God wants you to become a fear and dread to His enemies on the face of the earth. But as earlier stated, you need an ally in the like of Zechariah who had understanding of the visions of the LORD.

When Uzziah had him, the result was amazing. The Bible says,

“Now he went out and made war against the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Gath, the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod; and he built cities around Ashdod and among the Philistines.

God helped him against the Philistines, against the Arabians who lived in Gur Baal, and against the Meunites.

Also the Ammonites brought tribute to Uzziah. His fame spread as far as the entrance of Egypt, for he became exceedingly strong.” 2 Chronicles 26:6-8 NKJV

God will always help people under the ministry of shepherds who are teaching them to improve their walk and talk with God. He will marvelously help them until they become very strong if their focus is righteous.

The easiest way, therefore, to see in your days what Uzziah saw in his days is to look for a man of God with the understanding of the visions of God, and make Him your spiritual father and kingdom ally.

FRIEND, THERE IS A REVELATION AND COVERING THAT SUCH MAN CARRIES THAT EVERYONE WHO HAS AN ASSIGNMENT FROM GOD NEEDS.

Now when you find him you must relate with him properly to be able to draw all He has for you into your life. You must position yourself properly to draw bountifully. If you do not know how to position yourself, you will not see any of the blessings God raised him to release upon you manifesting in your life.

Now how do you position yourself under Kingdom allies? There are basic faith positions to take. Some of them are

1. submission and brokenness,

2. Loyalty and unflinching support,

3. Compassion that provides a righteous covering for them (not wicked covering like the one the servants of David provided for him to sleep with another man’s wife),

4. Prayer and provisions for his welfare,

5. Building a wall of resistance against the enemy for him or her and etc.

Though these faith positions have been used by charlatans and impostors to manipulate and steal from God’s sheep, they remain the key to making the most of a kingdom ally.

As we bring this to a close, I want you to understand that the secret of Uzziah’s success was not his skill or personal prayers, (as good as that may be). The secret of his success was the righteous connectivity of the man that was his kingdom ally – Zechariah – with GOD.

When you have kingdom allies and spiritual authority who fits Zachariah’s description, and take the proper faith position under him, fifty percent of your battles in life will be erase. You will begin to travel fast in life through an improvement of your personal walk and talk with God!

It’s my prayer that the LORD use these words to give you an inheritance among they that are sanctified! AMEN!

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR TODAY:

“Moreover Uzziah had an army of fighting men who went out to war by companies, according to the number on their roll as prepared by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king’s captains.”

“The total number of chief officers of the mighty men of valor was two thousand six hundred. And under their authority was an army of three hundred and seven thousand five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.”

“Then Uzziah prepared for them, for the entire army, shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows, and slings to cast stones. And he made devices in Jerusalem, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and the corners, to shoot arrows and large stones.

“So his fame spread far and wide, for he was marvelously helped till he became strong.” 2 Chronicles 26:11-15 NKJV
