TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (THURSDAY 27TH MAY 2021)
“If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,” Let Israel now say— 2 “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us,
Then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us; Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul;
Then the swollen waters Would have gone over our soul.” Psalm 124:1-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 147TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
This is the day the LORD has made, we shall be glad and be glad with it. Day unto day He have been feeding us with His word and refreshing our souls with His Spirit. His mercies have kept His heart towards us despite our shortcomings.
His marvelous deeds in our lives has been the reason we are alive. To Him belong all the glory!
This morning we are continuing with our discourse on dealing with witchcraft. We spoke about common sense yesterday in our opening, and our devotional text today is about the power of God’s help.
The help of God comes to us in different ways. It comes to us when we are sinking under the perils of life to pull us out of them. It comes to us when we are being tempted to sin, commit iniquity or trespass, by making a way of escape for us.
For those who are saved, it came to us when we were speeding to eternal damnation and brought us salvation. Whenever we find ourselves in sin, the help of God comes to convict and pull us out of that way of life. Whenever we are in need, it comes to help us out of our needs. The help of God is the most precious thing on the face of the earth. When you add good sense to your life, you begin to experience more of it.
In our discourse today, we will be looking at how to receive God’s marvelous helps against witchcraft. We are not built to deal with the enemy without an empowerment from. No one can overcome witchcraft without the help of the LORD!
People who have been asked to do this and do that to conquer witchcraft are still trapped in it because they engaged the helps of so called deliverance ministers who have no Bible sense on the matter, hence seeing no help. It takes revelation to connect supernatural help from God, either for yourself or for others.
So as we journey on these truths today, may light and understanding be your portion, in Jesus precious name. Amen
RECEIVING GOD’S MARVELOUS HELPS AGAINST WITCHCRAFT
“And he made devices in Jerusalem, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and the corners, to shoot arrows and large stones. So his fame spread far and wide, for he was marvelously helped till he became strong.” 2 Chronicles 26:15 NKJV
Most of what people know about witchcraft was gathered from witches and wizards and other forms of dark powers, not from God Himself. That is why they have not been able to obtain absolute freedom. The best person to tell you about darkness should not be in darkness but in LIGHT.
If darkness talks to you about darkness, you will never obtain absolute freedom from darkness. When it comes to spiritual warfare, LIGHT should be the one talking to us about darkness.
God is light in Him there is no darkness at all. He should be the one talking to us about darkness.
If darkness tells you about darkness, it will be a mixture of tissues lies and tissues of facts. The facts will be presented in such a way that none will see the lies attached. In other words, the facts will be told basically to conceal the lies or make you swallow them without doubt.
You cannot overcome witchcraft following the information men get from witch doctors, heretic deliverance ministers, and prophetic witches and wizards who gives you all kinds of things to pray with.
You will never overcome witchcraft listening to or following the guidelines of ministers of the gospel who do not understand the nature of the mystery of iniquity.
The best way to overcome witchcraft and all its attacks against you is to follow the keys carefully revealed in scriptures in submission to spiritual authorities who understand the nature of the mystery of iniquity.
The first key to overcoming witchcraft has been presented in the previous chapter as having the revelation knowledge or Bible sense of how it all began.
The second key is to come into the revelation of GOD’S MARVELOUS HELP AGAINST WITCHCRAFT and how to receive it. In other words, come into the revelation knowledge of God’s way of helping us against witchcraft and his way of receiving the help.
THE TRUTH REMAINS, NO ONE CAN OVERCOME DARKNESS BY POWER OR BY MIGHT. IT MUST BE BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD.
The Bible says,
So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.
‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”‘” Zechariah 4:6-7 NKJV
This book is the word of the LORD to you, and God is saying to you through this chapter “Overcoming witchcraft is not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.”
It is not by drinking Oil, sowing seeds, using pieces of clothes called mantles to pray. It’s not by using holy water, burning incense or using candles of every type or color to pray; that is the witch way of dealing with witchcraft. “Overcoming witchcraft is by My Spirit” says the LORD!
That is GOD’s marvelous helps trapped in that verse of the Bible.
God’s marvelous help are the marvelous things God do by His Holy Spirit, to destroy the works of darkness and cut off the activities witchcraft in our lives. The Bible says,
“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8 NKJV).
One major thing witchcraft does is to push people into sin, especially sexual sins. That is why adultery, fornication and all kinds of sexual perversion are traceable to witchcraft.
Many do not know that the terrible sin of homosexual acts and lesbianism are powered by witchcraft. The reason for all that is to make people to become “of the devil.” In others words, to partner them with the devil and make them share in the same destiny.
But in the same breath, the scripture says Jesus was made manifest that He might destroy the works of the devil, including sin and witchcraft. It will therefore, take the marvelous help of God to overcome such terrible powers.
God’s marvelous helps against witchcraft and every works of darkness includes the manifestation of Christ and His finished works on the cross in our lives.
THAT IS WHY IT IS A SHOUT OF “GRACE.”
The Bible says,
“‘who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”‘
We are the Zerubbabel of today because of the similar prophetic season that are upon us and similar forces that we are dealing with.
And the great mountain within context represents evil works, or invisible forces that creates visible problems, including witchcraft. The Bible says before us they shall become a plain. And God’s marvelous helps will enable us bring forth the capstone with shouts of Grace, grace to those forces!
The capstone is the last stone you place before putting the roof of a building. It is the finishing face of a project.
Satan hates seeing us finish things we started. He hates seeing marriages and families that started well finishing well. He hates seeing ministries that started well finishing well.
He hates seeing businesses and lives that started well finishing well, hence bringing forces including the forces of witchcraft against us. But if we are experiencing God’s marvelous helps, it will be crying “Grace, grace” to all his evil works until we move from start to finish. Hallelujah!
Concerning Uzziah, the Bible says
“So his fame spread far and wide, for he was marvelously helped till he became strong (2 Chronicles 26:15 b).”
You are the next on God’s list to be marvelous helped!
The only thing that is required is that you come into the revelation.
THE REVELATION OF GOD’S MARVELOUS HELPS!
Marvelous helps come s from the glorious God!
When we say the glorious God, we are referring to the manifestation of God in His 300 names. It’s very important that we come into the revelation of the 300 names of God and the reason for the names.
It may also interest you to know that there are 300 messianic prophecies that were fulfilled by Christ to match the 300 names of God. That should also tell us why God reduced Gideon’s army from the thousands that gathered to just 300 men. All these tells us that the manifestation of the 300 names of God is the catalyst of marvelous helps from God.
We cannot overcome evil works or press into higher dimensions in GOD if we do not come into the revelation of His names. Revelation is Heaven’s clearance to the earth to come into things supernatural. If it has not been revealed to you, it will remain in-accessible.
The 300 names of God and the manifestation of God through those names will remain impossible in your life until you come into the revelation.
Sadly, in the Church today our quest to deal with witchcraft has pushed us more to the realm of darkness than the realm of light.
Many now know the names of devils and their activities more than the names of God and what they unlock upon us in the spirit realm. That is why they see more of the manifestation of devils in their lives than God.
It is the people who know their GOD that will be strong and carry out great exploits not those who know the devil.
There are 300 names of God. We must come into the revelation of those names to break into dimensions of glory that will shock our world. The names are made manifest according to our revelation of God and what He wants to do.
Many of us, who are already walking in the supernatural power of God, are beneficiaries of the revelation in His names. For instance, those who are walking in the gifts of healing and miracles know God better as Jehovah Rapha that others. Because whenever God want to heal, He manifest as Jehovah Rapha.
Personally, I do not know the name of any demon causing sicknesses, but I walk in the Revelation of the name Jehovah Rapha and see God bring Healing to many sick people.
WE SHOULD NOT KNOW THE NAMES OF THE DEMONS CAUSING THE ILLNESSES. THAT IS NOT IMPORTANT.
We should know the name of the GOD who heals every sickness and diseases. That is what is important. And because we have the revelation knowledge, we are granted access to His healing power and propelled by His Holy Spirit to administer healing to the sick. The same can be said of any other type of supernatural supply from God.
If we do not come into the revelation of God’s name as “El-shaddai” meaning the all sufficient one, we will make men our source. We may never enjoy the supply of divine provisions. Our hearts will be swayed to look unto men instead of God for economic sustenance.
And do not forget, the Bible says
“curse is he who trust in man” (Jeremiah 17:5 NKJV).
You will start walking in curses for trusting in man and your so called prophet or prophetess will be blaming it on some demons in your village.
People who have the revelation of the name of the demons that are making them poor instead of the revelation of the name of the God who has already made them rich, will never break from the yoke of poverty.
God He will manifest as El-Shaddai to meet our needs only of we walk in the revelation of His name as El-Shaddai. If we do not come into the revelation, we will never see supernatural supplies.
Sadly, instead of teaching us the truth behind that name heretic teachers and lying prophets, are carving out of innocent scriptures forms of extorting money from people calling it seed sowing; they tell us what we must sow to be free from poverty.
People give from what they call redemption of first born to what they call first fruits or Isaac offering. And you find people doing all that, some tapping into the power of the spirit of lawlessness and getting some miracles, and others getting no rescued at all as promised.
Until God is revealed to you as the “All Sufficient One” or El-shaddai, the witches troubling your economy will never let you go. It is good to follow the word of the LORD on matters of life then these prophets that are intelligently twisting God’s word to satisfy their selfish desires.
THE SAME CAN BE SAID OF THE REWARD FOR OBEDIENCE.
Every Child of God knows that obedience is better than sacrifice. Until your relationship with God is intact, do no attempt giving Him sacrifices. That was what Saul did not know. In other words, you do not replace a life of submission to the will of God with giving fat offerings to church. It will ruin you!
God gave Saul a word to obey, but he chose to replace His obedience with sacrifices. The truth remains, God does not accept offerings from people who are not in good standing with Him. But sadly, we preachers do!
We claim it will be sanctified once it enters the church account. That is why we are in an Ichabod situation. But let us go further.
You see, God rewards obedience! But for you to see that reward you must come into the revelation of His name, Jehovah Jireh or “The-Lord-Will-Provide.”
The first person to see that manifestation of God was Abraham. The Bible says,
“And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” Genesis 22:14 NKJV
There is a place in the Spirit where Obedience meets divine provisions. That is the place where God manifest Himself in your obedience as Jehovah Jireh or The-LORD-Will-Provide. Meaning, your obedience is what creates the platform for that manifestation!
Abraham obeyed God and it created a platform for God to manifest His name, Jehovah Jireh, in his life.
When the Bible says He called the place The-Lord-Will-Provide or Jehovah-Jireh, it simple means the manifestation reflected on the place, and Abraham saw it and spoke out what he saw. Jehovah Jireh also means God is a provider of all needs, spiritual, financial, marital, and etc.
But this chapter is not about the 300 names of God. This chapter is about how we can receive God’s marvelous helps against witchcraft, especially after knowing the Bible Sense of how it started.
