TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Thursday 3RD June 2021)
Then God said,
“Let Us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:26-27 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 154TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
It is a good thing to give thanks to the LORD for His great and mighty deeds in our lives. With the ravaging effects of Covid-19, the coronal virus, we can say the LORD has been our shelter and strong tower. There have been no tears anywhere except tears of gratitude. To Him belong all the glory in Jesus precious name.
Yesterday, we looked at matters of mercy and how God deals with man according to the nature of his heart. It is the nature of a man’s heart that determines his deeds or works. Sadly, so many are in ignorance of this. I have heard people who teach and preach that God does not deal with us according to the nature of our hearts – in other words according to our deeds. That He is a loving God.
If God do not deal with men according to the nature of His heart, then why does genuine salvation give man a New heart and a new spirit? With the old and sinful heart, hell is sure. With the new heart and regenerated heart, Heaven is sure. It is as simple as that.
Sometimes I wonder which Bible people who preach such nonsense are reading from. Maybe they do not read any at all. They just talk what they feel. You must not allow yourself to be fooled by these agents of Satan trying to preach the gospel of our LORD and savior Jesus Christ.
I have always said, when you see the devil preaching the love of God, just know that he is about leading you through the sweetest paths to go to hell. God deals with us according to the nature of our hearts; according to our deeds.
LET NO ONE CONFUSE YOU ABOUT THAT, LEAST YOU WILL NOT GO FOR A NEW HEART AND A NEW SPIRIT FROM THE LORD.
Jesus Himself said;
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the City. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” Revelation 22:12-16 NKJV
He said “….and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work” How can scriptures like this be in the Bible and someone is saying God does not deal with us according to the nature of our hearts? He said, “I the LORD searches the heart to give to everyone according to His works” (Jeremiah 17:10).
Indeed, Satan has ordained people to twist the ways and word of the LORD so that a lost generation will remain under its grip. It is part of the sorceries or witchcraft of the last days you must watch against or overcome. These people are the very people Jesus called “the dogs” in His word to John the Beloved. He said,
“But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”
It is the lies they love and practice that make them teach such “lying truths” and make them sound like “living truths” in the ears of the shallow rooted. They are powered by the witchcrafts and sorceries of the last days – a child of the mystery of iniquity.
Today we will be going back to our discourse on “OVERCOMING WITCHCRAFT BY THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S POWER.” We will be unfolding the 3rd reason for the execution of God’s judgment of witchcraft standing on the revelation in our devotional text – Genesis 1:26-27.

THE CONSEQUENCE OF WITCHCRAFT ON GOD’S
ETERNAL PLANS FOR MANKIND
The third strong reason for the execution of God’s judgment on witchcraft activities is hidden in the revelation of its negative consequences on God’s eternal plans for mankind.
Many of us do not know that witchcraft is the total destruction or complete counterfeiting of God’s eternal plans for mankind. That is why Heaven moves against it each time we seek GOD in righteousness to do so.
One of the hidden agenda of Satan is to be like God. He wants to do all that God does. Witchcraft is his own way of trying to be like God. And I will show you what I mean. Now, let’s go through some aspects of God’s plans for mankind and see how the enemy is duplicating them through witchcraft.
(1). GOD CREATED MAN TO OUTSOURCE HEAVEN TO THE EARTH:
In the beginning mankind lived like a small “G” (God) on the face of the earth. He was God’s regent and was supernatural – spirit, soul and body. He was the small version of God’s omnipotent nature. He was also His omniscience in a small version.
While he could not be everywhere at the same time like God, he could be anywhere in a speed that was faster than the speed of light. Witchcraft counterfeits that through astral projections and travels.
Based on God’s original intent, man’s primary assignment was to spend his days in the glory of God Outsourcing Heaven to the earth.
THAT HE DID SUCCESSFULLY UNTIL THE FALL.
One of his successful assignments was the naming of the animals God created. Every name he gave corresponded with the names God used in calling them forth when he created. Do not forget, He created them when man was not ye created. The Bible says,
“Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these things, who brings out their host by number; HE CALLS THEM ALL BY NAME, by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power; not one is missing.” Isaiah 40:26 NKJV (Emphasis mine)
This scripture makes it clear that God called forth the animals by name when He created them. Though Adam was not there to hear the names, he was able to give those very names God called them when he was naming them. In other words, he outsourced the names from Heaven to earth.
Clearly, God’s eternal plan for mankind is that we live an earthly live outsourced from heaven. Now how does witchcraft counterfeit or destroy this plan?
Witchcraft is actually the outsourcing of the demonic and satanic to earth.
Just as mankind was created to outsource Heaven’s resources to earth, so are witches and wizards initiated to outsource Satan’s resources to earth. As earlier stated, it is his own way of trying to be like God. That is why you see witches and wizards operating as supernatural beings – the negative side of how Adam operated before the fall.
Through the practice of witchcraft, God’s plans for the men and women who accepted Satan’s offer to become witches and wizards (prophetic witches and wizards inclusive) was destroyed and how He created them to function counterfeited. That is why they will spend eternity with him in the lake of fire when time will be no more, if they do not repent and return back to the LORD.
In genesis chapter 6, you will find out that God wiped away witchcraft in that generation to stop it from filling the earth or the lives of men with Satan’s resources. When he moves to wipe it out today, it is still to stop witches and wizards from outsourcing the satanic from the kingdom of darkness to the lives of men.
(2). EMPOWERED WITH DOMINION TO OUTSOURCE HEAVEN TO THE EARTH:
The next aspect of God’s eternal plan for mankind is seen in our devotional text. The Bible says,
Then God said,
“Let Us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
It would have been impossible to outsource Heaven to earth without dominion over earth. Hence God gave mankind dominion over earth, and over every created thing under heaven so that He can be able to exercise it and make sure things be on earth as written in Heaven.
For instance, if he had no dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle and all the earth and over the creeping things that creeps on the earth, there was no way he would have assemble them to be named. That naming ceremony would not have been possible. Dominion was given to man as an instrument for outsourcing Heaven to earth; namely the names of the animals from heaven to earth. Bible says;
“Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.
So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.” Genesis 2:19-20 NKJV
How did God bring the animals to Adam to be named? I believe Adam was moved by the Spirit of God to summon them, and he spoke and God summon them. You may not understand this until you understand how dominion works in the kingdom of God.
GOD GAVE US A CLUE WHEN HE SPOKE THROUGH ISAIAH SAYING,
‘Search from the book of the Lord, and read: not one of these shall fail; not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them. Isaiah 34:16 NKJV
There are untaught preachers who use this scripture to manipulate some single ladies who are facing marital delay to give them money or sleep with them to get married. They say to them among other things that God created one woman for one man, and that once you miss that man yours is gone. What a lie!
It’s really sad how the Bible has become a tool in the hands of Charismatic witches and wizards called prophets and prophetesses these days. They twist innocent scriptures like that to put ladies in the mode of desperation and open the gates of hell upon them.
There are ladies married to terrible men because they thought if they had loose them, that would have been all for them so long as marriage was concern.
This scripture has nothing to do with marriage. The Saints must grow up in understanding. It speaks of the impossibility of the spoken word in the mouth of one who is in synchronicity with Heaven to lack its mate. The mate is performance not a wife or husband.
It says,
“not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them.”
Meaning anything such people say will be performed by the Holy Spirit whose power they are operating in.
Now back to the clues in the scripture of how Adam administered dominion in the Garden.
The mouth of the LORD in the Garden of Eden was Adam – a man in total synchronicity with Heaven. So when he spoke, the Spirit of God gathered the animals to him to be named. In other word, God gathered them to him after he had spoken that they be gathered to him.
THAT WAS HOW HIS GOD GIVEN DOMINION WAS ADMINISTERED.
However, dominion in the kingdom cannot be independently administered without the giver of that dominion – God. So Adam did not just independently asked God to gather the animals for naming. You see that in how the second Adam Jesus Christ, operated (actually, for those who may not know, Jesus is the second or last Adam).
The Bible says,
“And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” 1 Corinthians 15:45 NKJV)
Now, if we look at the second Adam, we can see clearly how the first Adam lived and operated in the Garden. We can see how he administered the Dominion God gave Him. When the second Adam, Jesus, walked on water, that was Him showing us that the First Adam never swam across the rivers that were in the Garden of Eden whenever he needed to do something on the other side. He simply walked on water and crossed over to the other side.
Beautifully, that is the kind of life we will live in the new Heaven and the New Earth where righteousness dwells.
When the second Adam resurrected and traveled through walls during the 4o days He spent appearing to the disciples in closed rooms, He was showing us that the first Adam never needed a door of entrance to enter into a cave or go through a rock. It was a revelation that the first Adam traveled through hard objects.
