TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Friday 4th June 2021)

For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. John 5:19-20 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 155TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
The God of Heaven and earth has been so mindful of us. He has been faithful to us and has given us another day. His marvelous deeds have been our help that I why even unseen battles have not taken us out.
Friend, a lot rages around us in the spirit realm. If God should remove His restraining force, we will be dead in moments. He has been giving the rain of His mercies to us from time to time. It has been our refreshing and peace. David said our help is in the name of the LORD.
No other name would have helped us this far but His name. Men of fame, the good, the bad and the ugly, may give you their names. But if you soil the name of the good ones with anything, or refuse to do what the bad and ugly wants you to do, they withdraw the privilege immediately.
But that is not so with our LORD and savior Jesus Christ. He is never ashamed to calls us His own, no matter the circumstances. He may rebuke us, chastise us, but we are always His own. It is called steadfastness.
The purpose of His rebukes is to bring us to repentance and redemption. The purpose of His chastisements is to make us chaste. Everything is done to keep us standing in Him and upholding the faith and remaining His own. He has been indeed faithful and true.
This morning we are continuing with excerpts from the book “OVERCOMING WITCHCRFAT BY THE GREANESS OF GOD’S POWER.”
Yesterday, we stopped at a point where the second Adam showed us how the first Adam transported himself or walked on water. Today we will pick exactly from the last line. It is my prayer that you find a word of refreshing in Jesus precious name. Amen
THE SECOND THING IS, JESUS SHOWED US HOW THE FIRST ADAM ADMINISTERED DOMINION.
The Bible says,
Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. John 5:19-20 NKJV
It means the first Adam did not do anything by originating them from his spirit. He did only what he saw the Father (God almighty) do. For whatever He saw the Father do in the Spirit was what he did in the natural. So the day he named the Animals was no different.
What he saw in the spirit realm was what He did in the natural realm. I believe he saw the Father gather all the animals to Himself and gathered them too. Then he spoke out what he saw and the father responded by making sure no word that came out of his mouth lacked its mate; which is performance.
Satan counterfeits this by helping fallen men tap into his own version of dominion, consequently turning them into witches and wizards and defeating God’s plan for their lives.
Witches and wizards actually try to duplicate what they see from the demonic world. They speak from Satan’s resources just as Adam spoke from God’s resources. That is another of Satan’s attempt to be like the Most High and defeat the plans of GOD for mankind.
I have read of how he will appear to some directly or indirectly, to teach them formulas on how to engage the supernatural, basically to provoke God who hates such things. Then they will use whatever he has taught them to recruit others. That is the secret behind the multiplicity of witches and wizards on the face of the earth.
Witchcraft actually involve man’s attempt to go supernatural outside Christ. It is trying to exercise dominion over created things using other powers outside Christ. When you try to go supernatural outside Christ, you tap into the realm of using sorcery and magical powers to control things in your life or the life of others. That is how you become a witch or wizard!
God destroys witchcraft to stop it from defeating this aspect of His plan for mankind. He wipes it away so that men can operate in true dominion and outsource Heaven to their lives and the lives of others.
(3). EMPOWERED WITH MULTI-LEVEL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM TO OUTSOURCE HEAVEN TO THE EARTH: This is the third aspect of God’s eternal plans of mankind that witchcraft is ruining and defeating in the lives of some. If you look at God’s original plan for mankind, constant communication and fellowship with God was an integral part.
In fact, what man really lost at the Garden was relationship with God!
It defeated the entire purpose why he was created. That is why gospel ministry is the ministry of reconciliation – reconciling man back to GOD. Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth Saying;
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 NKJV
In my opinion no preaching is authentic until it can reconcile men back to God. Any preaching that reconcile men back to God is called “the word of reconciliation.” Our primary assignment as prophetic and apostolic ministries is to bring men back to God and improve their walk and talk with Him. That is why if a so called Christian is not in talking terms with GOD, he or she is a fraud!
God actually created us to outsource Heaven to earth but we cannot do that without being in talking terms with Him. That is the reason for constant fellowship with Heaven. Adam was blessed with a supernatural multi-level communication system to be in constant touch or fellowship with God until the fall. When he fell everything was lost over time. Creating a vacuum for the demonic to come in!
But the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross turned everything around for us, making it possible to relate with GOD again.
TODAY WE CAN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD BY GIVING OURSELVES CONTINUALLY TO PRAYER AND TO THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD.
That is why it remains one of the most important aspects of the Christian life. Whenever we do that, communication with God will be restored and improved leading to a life that is outsourced from Heaven to the earth.
Now, witchcraft involves communication with the devil or familiar spirit instead of communicating with God and outsourcing Heaven to earth. Men communicate with devils and familiar spirits to outsource the satanic or the supernatural of the devil to the earth. You can see that clearly; by spreading witchcraft another aspect of God’s original plan for mankind (constant communication with Him) is counterfeited and defeated.
Witches and wizards are trained and empowered with satanic communication systems to stay in constant touch with the devil and other unclean spirits the way Adam was in constant touch with GOD. They commune with demons or the demonic world through open visions and voices, astral projections, trances and etc. to outsource the dark world to the earth, thereby defeating the eternal plan of GOD for their lives.
If there is any reason God moves against witchcraft is to stop it from defeating this aspect of His plan for mankind!
(4). FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST TO OUTSOURCE HEAVEN TO THE EARTH: This is the last basic aspect of God’s eternal plan for mankind I want to share about.
There was no way Adam would have successfully outsourced Heaven to earth without the outpouring or infilling of the Holy Ghost. A good Bible student may ask “Man of God, when was Adam filled with the Holy Ghost?” Well the answer is in the book of Genesis chapter 2.
The Bible says,
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 NKJV
What really happened in the Garden was not GOD putting His mouth into Adam’s to breathe into Him. It was God super imposing Himself into Adam and he became a living being. God is Spirit – so it was His Holy Spirit that entered Adam and lived in Him. When He entered, the clay got up and became Adam – a living being! Hallelujah!
However, everything changed when man fell.
It would later take 930 years for him to expel what was left; afterwards he died. This is how it happened; the day the last deposit of the Spirit or glory of God was expelled from him he dies. But glory to GOD, Jesus came and died on the cross and saved us from that. Today, He has made it possible for the Holy Spirit to enter and indwell man again. The Spirit of GOD have been restored back to us!
The restoration of the Spirit of GOD back to man was what Joel the prophet of GOD prophesied when he said;
And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. Joel 2:28-29 NKJV
This outpouring or the second coming of the Holy Spirit to man is possible today. It is called the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire.
At the Baptism, the Spirit is restored. Then through constant fellowship His presence increases and fills every aspect of a man’s life. The reason for all that is to take us back to the glory realm where Adam once lived. That is why I can say God is not taking us forward. God is taking us backward – back to where Adam lived before the fall.
PAUL WOULD LATER WRITE TO THE CHURCH AT EPHESUS SAYING,
Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God. Ephesians 5:17-21 NKJV
The will of the LORD is that we be filled and stay filled with the Holy Spirit. You cannot touch anything unclean, when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit will separate you unto Himself and keep you Holy for Him to remain in you. Don’t forget, he does not dwell in unclean vessels. He takes unclean vessels, washes them, and then gets them filled with His presence.
When that happens, He keeps them clean so they can remain filled.
The primary intent of all these remains, returning us back to the realm of outsourcing Heaven to earth. That is why whenever you see people filled with the Holy Spirit in the early Church, you see them outsourcing Heaven to the earth. One of such people was Paul the apostle. He outsourced Heaven to earth at one time and shut down the activity of a black witch. The Bible says,
Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus, who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.
But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him
and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.
And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord. .” Acts 13:6-12 NKJV
ANYONE WHO IS FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN SHUT DOWN THE ACTIVITIES OF WITCHES AND WIZARDS LIKE PAUL DID HERE.
He can outsource Heaven to earth and shut down the satanic through Spirit-enabled utterances. Adam was able to outsource Heaven to earth because the Holy Spirit – the very Spirit of God that fills Heaven – was living in Him.
If the Spirit that fills Heaven fills your life, there is no way you won’t lead a life that is outsourced from Heaven. It is clear that the primary reason witchcraft prevail against some believers is because they are not filled with the Holy Ghost the way Adam was filled before the fall. God wants us filled and living filled so that Heaven will be kissing the earth through us again and again.
But how does Satan counterfeit and defeat this aspect of God’s plan in the lives of men through witchcraft? He gets them filled with unclean spirits – millions of them – so they can successfully outsource his resources to the earth the way we would do under the Holy Spirit. This is another strong reason why God is angry with witchcraft. And will wipe it away at any time!
