TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Sunday 13th June 2021)
“By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; therefore, I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones.
“Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you.
“You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; therefore, I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you.
All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; you have become a horror, and shall be no more forever.”‘” Ezekiel 28:16-20 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 164TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS.
God has given us another day; He has allowed us to sleep and wake up to a brand new day. Glory to His Great name. There is no one like our GOD, and none will ever be like Him. His splendor fills the Heavens and earth. His mercies are from everlasting to everlasting.
What a mighty God we serve. Heaven and earth adore Him. Angels bow before Him. I think the only part of His creatures that do not do all that is fallen angels and un-regenerated men. But every other adore Him and bow before Him.
To adore Him simple means to esteem, worship, admire, love or respect Him. Fallen men and fallen angels do not do this. It’s really sad to even think of that. That is why the destination of these two classes of God’s creatures is the same; eternal fire.
Satan hate people who adore God. He hates those who esteem, worship, admire, love and respect the LORD. He wants all that for Himself. I have come to realize that he courts all who adore God to shift it to Him. He feels so Jealous and envious about that it when He sees us adoring God. This dangerous crave of Satan who is called Lucifer, did not begin today. It began in Heaven, which was why He fell. Isaiah said;
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. Isaiah 14:12-15 NKJV
IF THE LORD HAD NOT REVEALED THIS TO HIS PROPHET TO PEN IT DOWN FOR US, WE WOULD HAVE NOT KNOWN WHAT HAPPENED!
If you look at this scripture, you will discover that the lawless desire of Lucifer to be adored like God was what made him to developed all the thoughts he developed. It was what made him to say,
“I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.”
He wanted to be like the Most High God to be able to receive all that the Most High God was receiving in the eternal past. But he was brought low to the lowest depths of the pit because no creature of God was created to be like the Most High the way he desired.
He succeeded to pull a third of the angels under his command along. Since then, he has not ceased to crave for adoration from men and angels. That was even why he came into the garden in time past and got Adam and Eve. He wanted them to do to him what they were doing to God. He will seek to do the same to every one of us who calls upon the name of the LORD.
That is why the Bible warns that, let he who thinks he stands, take heed least he falls. The enemy is going about seeking for those he might devoured their worship or pull their adoration from God to himself.
WITCHCRAFT IS ACTUALLY A PRODUCT OF A FALLEN MAN GIVING HIS ADORATION TO THE DEVIL INSTEAD OF GOD.
It is usually a child of esteeming the devil, loving him, admiring him and his works and bowing to him in all you do. Witchcraft has increased today because the number of those who admire Satan and his works have increased. Look at Hollywood for instance and watch most movies, you will understand what am stating.
If you admire the devil, honest a time will come when he will give you his powers to practice witchcraft and destroy yourself in the long run. It is just that you will not understand that whatever he has given you is to destroy yourself. You will never know that until light comes from Heaven to your soul.
This morning we are going to pick up from where we stopped on the excerpts from our book OVERCOMING WITCHCRAFT BY THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S POWER.
We left off yesterday when we were looking at the other two aspects of the witchcraft software – iniquity and trespass. Don’t forget it was iniquity that was found in Lucifer in the eternal past; the iniquity of seeking to be like the Most High in other to receive all that the Most High was receiving. But the consequences where terrible. He was judged by the LORD of heaven and Earth.
Our devotional text says;

If you look at this scripture deeply, you will see over 8 things that will happen in your life if iniquity is found in you.
I WILL LIKE TO CALL THEM SYMPTOMS OF INIQUITY.
The first is a life full of violence. If it is a marriage or any interpersonal relationship, a job, a brand of politics or a job, it will be full of violence. That is why you see all kinds of conflicts in marriages, interpersonal relationships, politics, business places and etc. some times.
Wherever you see people living with violence of becoming violent, there is a root of iniquity right there. Violence is a fruit that grows from the root of iniquity. Iniquity can even fill a life and even an entire nation with violence.
When you see families, nations, businesses or groups filled with violence, you have seen people whose lives are rooted in iniquity. Generational violence is not actually a fruit of generational curses but a fruit of generational iniquity. Any generation that removed iniquity from its heart will no longer see violence in their midst.
What we call generational curses are actually symptoms of generation iniquity – it is when iniquity move from father to son that curses also move from father to son because a curse causeless shall not come.
For instance, if iniquity is in the heart of a man or woman, they may get but will never stay married. It will fill whatever they set their hearts to do with violence. Iniquity is actually at the root of a larger percentage of divorce cases. Iniquity will actually sale anyone to witchcraft and fills his heart with violence.
The reason iniquity fills God’s creation with violence is no creature or son of God was created or designed to be happy in iniquity. If iniquity develops in man, for example, that man will lose his peace and end up losing his cool over time and becoming violent like Satan. That is why a man or women who was calm at the onset of a relationship can become violent much later in the relationship.
INIQUITY TAKES AWAY HIS OR HER PEACE, TURNING THE HIM OR HER VIOLENT TOWARDS HIS OR HER PARTNER.
Iniquity is also the entry gate of demon possession. When you live in iniquity for too long, you will defile your sanctuaries like the devil and become demon possessed. That is what makes this aspect of the software very dangerous.
Iniquity corrupts the wisdom of men and makes it possible for people to receive a baptism of foolishness through witchcraft. It is responsible for the expulsion of people, churches and even nations from the manifest presence of God.
When people are expelled from God’s manifest presence, no matter how you pray for them there will be no move of God in their lives because it’s the manifest presence of God that produce marvelous moves of God in the lives of people when we pray for them. If they are not within the coverage area of God’s presence in the spirit realm, prayer for them will never work.
That is why it is important to bring those you want to pray for into the coverage area of God’s manifest presence first, through sound teachings that will provoke a deep repentance that will bring them back, before ministering to them.
When people are expelled from the manifest presence, they can still have Church because they will have the anointing but will never have God Himself (the glory). Yes, they can still have church but not have God.
That is where the demon of deliverance, a counterfeit power of the devil that have been desiring to be like the Most High, comes in and start conducting deliverance on people like God would do. If the people are blind, they will think they are dealing with God.
Friend you must not allow iniquity to be found in you as you walk with the LORD because when iniquity is found in people they part ways with the glory of God without knowing it. When iniquity is found in people, the fires of hell will start burning within them leading to a sinful and miserable life. When iniquity is found in people, their lives will be full of destruction. They will be a horror to all who gaze at them.
Most people who blame the external for their problems will never recover until they begin to look internally at this terrible aspect of the witchcraft software. The greatest ruin of men is not Satan himself or his many witchcrafts. The greatest ruin of men is Iniquity that makes the evil works of Satan and his terrible witchcrafts to work successfully in the lives of men.
God spoke to Israel saying;
“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord God. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Ezekiel 18:30 NKJV
Repentance is the only way to deal with iniquity. And we have shared about repentance in previous devotionals. If there is no repentance, there can be no redemption.
No one can receive God’s marvelous help against witchcraft if iniquity is found in him. It will be his true ruin not actually the devil. The scripture made it clear that God helped Jacob against witchcraft because He did not observe or see iniquity in him.
However, in repenting or turning away from iniquity one must know what it is.
