TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Monday 30th August 2021)
“I will punish you terribly, and you will be ruined. You will be struck with incurable diseases and with fever that leads to blindness and depression. Your enemies will eat the crops you plant,” Leviticus 26:16 CEV
WELCOME TO THE 242nd DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
This is the day the LORD has made. We bless Him for taking us through FOUR seasons of intensive schools of the Spirit code named “7 Day 7 Mountains.”
Yesterday, the LORD kick started the season five of the schools. It was indeed a Holy Ghost Theatre as the LORD promised a night before. We have never seen such. It gets better and better at the Cry of the Spirit!
Someone said, “With what I am experiencing in this Church, it’s clear to me that the Churches I have been attending were mere social clubs.” It struck me because of what the LORD said to me years back about the oppression people are going through in this part of the world.
The LORD said to me that the Church here has failed and most preachers have died long ago spiritually, they have lost touch with Him, hence the darkness in the hearts of men. He said Church failure is responsible for what His people are going through here.
Indeed, you will never know what you are missing going to your Church every now and then until you step into a living Church where the presence and word from God is always fresh and dominion over sin and Satan administered.
You will never know what you are missing as a Christian until you step into a true and living Church, where the WORD is fresh every now and then, and the presence of God thick enough for any sinful living or satanic affliction to remain in your life.
There are people who have never gone to Church in their lives. But they have been faithful members of groups called churches. Jesus Himself made it clear that there are groups we call churches that by spiritual content are assemblies of Satan. No one can be a true child of God worshiping in an assembly of Satan called Church.
David said,
“I wad glad when the say let us go into the House of God.”
Then the temple had not been built, so he was not referring to gathering in a building.
He was referring to getting into a place where you can behold the beauty of the LORD and enquire at His temple in Heaven. A place of where the presence of the Heavenly Temple is brought to earth for people to enquire from as the man of God stands to teach the word.
YOU CANNOT BE PART OF SUCH A PLACE AND NOT BE ANIMATED BY THE GLORY OF THE LORD!
Today, we can say getting into a Church service where you can behold the beauty of God’s glory and enquire at the Temple of God in Heaven, brought to earth in the Holy Ghost. This is different from going to Church to behold the beauty of ladies singing at the choir or seated on the pew dressed skimpy, because that is what most do. Such places are not Church but Assemblies of Satan.
In Assemblies of Satan called Church, people are told to look at the women in Church and choose one to marry. Young men are encouraged to come to Church to find a wife. They present Church as a place where women can be found for marriage. Others run it as a political party, money making machines, and etc. That is why so many people no longer go to Church!
If Church is allowed to be the way Jesus started it, people will always say like David said,
“I was glad when they say let us go into the house of the LORD”
One major thing that happens when we find the true house of the LORD is healing and restoration of the soul. Our devotional text today exposes that there are certain sicknesses and diseases that are incurable. And they do not come from the natural realm. It says,
“I will punish you terribly, and you will be ruined. You will be struck with incurable diseases and with fever that leads to blindness and depression”.
But when we step into a true and living Church, we encounter the mercy to overcome these kinds of diseases. But let us do some digging into this scripture. There could be some helpful truths buried in it.
The scripture makes it clear that there is a kind of fever that can lead to depression and blindness. It does not come from a natural plane but a supernatural one.
In the days of the Bible, this was a curse that came upon those who broke the mosaic law, and it confirms that certain diseases do not actually come from the natural plane; neither are they caused by natural phenomena. They come from a realm outside the natural realm.
Yesterday, we shared about the power of proper feeding and medical care in helping us stay healthy, but when diseases come from the spirit realm, proper feeding and sound medical care will not be able to take care of them.
WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ARE TIMES WHEN PROPER FEEDING AND MEDICAL CARE DO NOT TRANSLATE INTO GOOD HEALTH.
One of the people I was privileged to be used of God to minister His healing power to many year ago, was a rich guy who was eating very good food, and could afford the best medical care anywhere in the world. His wife called me to her home and presented the request to me. I was stunned, but God healed him.
When the cause of sickness and disease come from a supernatural realm, medical care or proper feeding will not be able to handle it.
What do we do when good food and sound medical care do not translate into sound health? What do you do when your health goes down even after good medical care and proper feeding?
First you must understand that you are under a spiritual attack. Maybe the spirit of infirmity is responsible or the gates of death have trapped you. What do you do in such circumstances? Let us begin with an investigation. Let us look at things that can expose us to incurable diseases flying in the spirit realm.
Yes, certain things we do are capable of provoking supernatural attacks on our health, resulting in incurable sicknesses and diseases. For instance, if you are wicked, sinful, and persistently rebellious towards God and His ways, you may wake up one day to find yourself bedridden.
I have heard and seen how God struck false prophets with incurable diseases. I have also seen cancer kill people because they were reckless with God’s Holy men and women. I did not say God’s anointed, I say God’s Holy Men and women. Because you can be anointed and not holy, making you one of those God will never defend like that.
When we are reckless with God’s holy man and woman, we expose ourselves to such attacks.
There was this woman who persistent attacked our ministry and caused me so much pain and tears in my days of little beginning. I did not pray against her. I just asked the LORD to vindicate me because the lies where too much for my mouth to clear. She used some facts to build her lies in the hearts of men and it worked very well, hindering our ministry badly.
SADLY, AFTER ABOUT FIVE YEARS SHE CAUGHT CANCER AND DIED. I DID NOT KNOW HOW.
Friend, I have seen God’s fury burn and those it burned against became sick and even died. That is why this generation must be taught the Doctrine of God’s Wrath so that we can lead lives that will not let God’s fury burn against us.
Recently, someone called to tell me how God Struck a prophetess here in Nairobi who have been telling all who cared to listen that I am a Satanist from Nigerian and not a true man of God. I was told of another woman who got an accident immediately after speaking against me. The person who told me said it was so fast because she has seen people who do the same but nothing happened to them immediately.
Someone else told me of how the business of someone completely ran down after speaking against our ministry for months, saying I not of God. Child of God, our generation need to be taught the doctrine of God’s wrath so that we avoid it.
Yes, there are false prophets and preachers, but if you classify true voices of God as false, you are blaspheming against the Holy Spirit and incurring God’s wrath. You may never go unpunished until you repent and restitute.
In 2 chronicles 21:18 God struck a king with an incurable disease for his wickedness. God do strike people with diseases as an act of correctional judgment because He is the sovereign Judge and ruler of the earth. He will not allow us to stop His work successfully or fill His earth with wickedness and go free. Some will receive their punishment in this life while others we receive it in the next life if they do not repent for God to relent.
There are those have been taught a lopsided version of God’s love. I want to let you know that God’s wrath is as perfect as His Love. In fact, God’s wrath is actually God’s love in another color. It is those He loves He corrects instantly. But those who are damned for eternal destruction, He will not even bother to correct in this life. He will leave them to the punishment of the next life.
Now, incurable diseases do not come by God’s wrath alone, there are other things that brings them. One is idolatry or false worship.
If you look at families that spring from idol worship or lives that sprang from places where satanic or false worship is practiced, or the lives of those who are involved in all kinds of rituals like sex rituals, you will see them struggling with incurable diseases. If you look at some of the gays and lesbians, you will see how sickly and terrible they are health wise.
No one who does anything with the kingdom of darkness lives a peaceful and healthy life. At one time or the other, incurables hit their families.
Those who sacrifice their souls for money also suffer the same fate.
That is why God warned that we should not have other gods before Him. Having other gods before God directly or indirectly, will strike someone with incurable diseases over time. It will expose our souls to the demonic and bring troubles upon our health.
THERE ARE A LOT PEOPLE WHO GET INVOLVE WITH DEVILS THROUGH THE MINISTRY OF FALSE PROPHETS, ESPECIALLY BY COVENANT.
Many do not know that when you interact with demons or get involved in demonic activities by covenant for any benefit, a time will come that the same forces will strikes you with incurables – the unclean spirit will come back to eat your health.
When that happens the only way out is to turn genuinely to God, and repent of all your sorceries. Then, receive Jesus into your life and get baptized in the Holy Spirit. If you do you will be saved and permanently returned to sound health. That was why Peter said to Simon the sorcerer, when he offered Him money for the anointing the way young preachers do today to their papas and mamas;
…. “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!
You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.
For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.” Acts 8:20-23 NKJV
Now, there are Incurable diseases and sicknesses that also come from the realm of Satan to oppress God’s work, will or people and make life unbearable for mankind or those who try to withstand his works on earth. God’s protective edge usually protect us from them. That is why it is not safe to be unsaved.
In other words, if you are not genuinely born again, you are in trouble. Diseases from the kingdom of darkness will destroy your health and kill you suddenly. I know people who have been killed by diseases from the kingdom of darkness.
SOME LIVED IN SIN WHILE TRYING TO STOP SATAN FORM DOING HIS WORKS, AND HE STRUCK THEM WITH DISEASE AND KILLED THEM.
Others where part of a false prophetic ministry and when they rebelled against the false prophets and prophetesses they were struck by the demons in the prophets and prophetess they once worshiped. I saw this here in Kenya when God has used us to deliver some.
I have also seen those who were too involved without confessing what they did with those prophets and prophetess dying carelessly.
The realm of God strikes people with incurable diseases to defend the gospel, judge sin, establish righteousness, redeem souls, promote divine will, or take away evil. But that of the enemy strikes to kill, to steal, and to destroy. The purposes are not the same.
Satan counterfeit God in other to establish his works. Sadly, his activities are only effective when he follows God’s patterns in carrying them out. That is why he counterfeits.
God judges with incurables because He is a just God who cannot justify the wicked or forsake the righteous. The Ancient Hebrew Prophet, Isaiah said;
“With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Let grace be shown to the wicked, Yet he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.” Isaiah 26:9-10 NKJV
You see, there are two ways people learn righteousness, the first is through the ministry of teaching apostles and prophets, the other is through correctional judgment. It is how the nature of our hearts are and how we treat the word of the LORD that determines which way God passes us through in teaching us righteousness.
In a place where the hearts of men are wicked and the word or voice of the LORD maltreated, God will have to use correctional judgments. One of them is what is called wormwood.
I know many will either be scared of this or deny it completely, but that is the truth. There is something called “wormwood” in scriptures. It is God’s temporal judgment on sin and wickedness.
You see, there are people whose health is under satanic attacks, but So many people who are lying helplessly in our Hospitals today are under wormwood. That is why no prayer can work for them. They will need to confess, repent and even restitute to come out of their illness. If they do, honestly, they may not need medical help to recover.
Only the mercy of the LORD can save one whose health is under wormwood. And God has promised that He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy, and compassion on whom He will have compassion. It is very important that we go for His mercies when wormwood is responsible for an illness. Repentance and restitution will be required.
As you embrace this great day, I want you to understand that only God’s mercy can deal with an illness that is from the supernatural realm. It is therefore important that we know how to engage His mercy. God presented “confession of sin” “Restitution where necessary” and “righteous prayers” as a means of engaging His mercy to work for us in this respect.
He said in His word;
“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16 NKJV
