TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Monday 6TH September 2021)
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.” Proverbs 4:23-24 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 249th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
It’s been 249 days of schooling in the things of God on this platform. We have been schooled into restoration and other things in the kingdom of our GOD.
I have come to discover that the breakthrough, miracle or blessing you get without schooling in the things of God, will be lost after a while.
Ignorance is a deadly disease – it is stronger than any curse on the face of the earth. When what you ought to know is not known, an accursed person will even look more blessed than you.
There are things we ought to know; things that if we do not know we will be ruined. These are the things GOD designed that we know – things our souls are designed by God to accommodate. These things are things which the Holy Spirit teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Sometimes the things are taught at advanced level as shared yesterday. Other times they are shared through human vessels.
They have capacity to open Heavenly portals in our souls when they are known. Portals are spiritual gates that connect the invisible world with the visible. Jesus said something to Nathaniel, a prospective follower, that is worthy of note. The Bible says,
“And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” John 1:51 NKJV
Jesus was referring to the opening of Heavenly portals over His Spirit, Soul and Body. One of such moments was in Matthew 17 where the portals opened and His face was transformed like the Sun.
THE FIRST TIME HEAVENLY PORTALS OPENED OVER EARTH WAS AT CREATION.
The earth was created under seven portals of glory. There were other times Heavenly portals opened over earth after that. One of the significant times was in the place Jacob would later call Bethel. That was what Jesus was referring to when He spoke with Nathaniel. The Bible says,
“Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep.
Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. Genesis 28:10-12 NKJV
Then spiritual portals opened externally. And that was the experience Jacob had. But in John 1:51, Jesus was revealing another type of opening that the earth only witnessed when Adam was formed – the opening of Heavenly portals in the souls and spirits of men.
People have been talking about “open Heavens.” Open Heavens are actually “portals of Heaven” opened over earth or individuals. And that is the gateway of blessings. In God’s mercy, these portals do open in people when I teach them.
As earlier stated, God originally discerned that Heavenly Portals open both in and around man. The soul of a man is built in such a way that Portals (either from Heaven or hell) can open within it. That is how people communicate with either God or demons.
When Heavenly portals opened over you, it will change your life significantly and when evil portals open, they will also change your life significantly. It is important that you locate a Church that Heavenly portals open within people as the pastor preaches, the way it happens at the Cry of the Spirit.
THE OPENING OR PORTALS WITHIN US IS GOD’S WAY OF TRANSFERRING BLESSINGS FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH.
When the Heavenly portal opened over Jacob, look at what it brought upon His life. The Bible says;
“And behold, the Lord stood above it and said:”I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.
Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” Genesis 28:13-15 NKJV
Each verse of this scripture told us what the Portal brought. The first was the promise to posses the land he was lying on. Along with the promise was the Heavenly backing which have not left earth since then. That is why Israel is still where it is today in spite of the opposition it has faced in life as a nation.
The second verse speaks of the blessing to increase and spread everywhere. We saw that speaking when Israel went to Egypt. The next was the promised Messiah. That also came to pass in the miracle of Immaculate Conception, the birth of the Church and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost on all flesh.
The last blessing that was released upon him that day was an ever-abiding presence of God. Not everyone on the face of the earth has this blessing. He said to him,
“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
WHAT CAN WE GLEAN FROM THESE PROPHETIC TRUTHS?
You see, when God want to give you a miracle, He may send a man to you but when He wants to give you lasting things from Heaven, He will open portals of Heaven over you. That was what He did for Jacob. He can do it for every one of us!
For instance, there are portals of Heaven that releases the blessing of divine Restoration to lives on earth. Until they are opened over us or within our souls, we will not connect Heaven for the restoration our life needs. That is why schooling in the things of God is important. Portals open over us and within us when we encounter God in His word. When we sale ourselves to His word right in His manifest presence they open within our souls.
SUFFERING AND WHAT THEY CALL CURSES ARE BY-PRODUCTS OF EVIL PORTALS OPENED OVER THE SOULS OF MEN AND WOMEN.
There are things we are not designed to accommodate in our souls – doctrines of devils are some of them.
Doctrines of devils open evil portals over people and keep them in demonic oppression; that is why people who are taught things about the devil, evil altars, curses, evil patterns, in father’s houses and etc. are not always free from oppression. You cannot be free from oppression with teachings that open evil portals within people in your soul.
WHAT IS THE MESSAGE OF OUR DEVOTIONAL TODAY?
Your life is a product of the kind of spiritual portal opened within your soul.
Stop going to Churches that make money the most of everything and teaches you things that does not open Heavenly portals within men. If portals of evil are subtly or openly opened in your soul (either you know it or not) you will never have rest from demonic oppression.
Our devotional text this morning says;
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.”
The portals that are opened in your heart determine what flows out of your life. If your life is full of poverty, misery, and all kinds of oppression, there are no portals of Heaven within you. You must put away lying and heretic preachers from your life hence they will never be closed for the Heavenly ones to open!
