TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Tuesday 7TH September 2021)
“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:8-10 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 250th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
Today we will be refreshing our memories on money matters in God’s kingdom. God has been faithful to us even in seasons when we are faithless. He has been our keeper and maker. A loving Father from whom all blessings flow.
Indeed, this year has been a year of Schooling in the deep things of God, and Heaven has been smiling on us with fresh truths from the throne room every morning both on this platform and on the Morning Cloud Television; not to talk of what we have been receiving at our apostolic center.
When you gain revelation knowledge of God and you submit to what you have learned, you will begin to have a pure heart and your love for GOD will increase. When your love for God increases, you will begin to think of committing your-self financially towards His work. You will begin to see the tithe as the least you can give to the LORD.
In fact, while others are still struggling to be faithful in tithing, or be giving to God based on what some greedy preachers tells them to do, the tithe to you will become the starting point of true kingdom stewardship. Love for God evokes submission to His will. Submission to His will evokes sacrificial acts for His purposes.
Sacrificial giving that is not based on so called raising an altar of sacrifice or unlocking one blessing or the other as taught by preachers whose god is their belly, is a major act of sacrifice that becomes a lifestyle when submission to God’s will is evoked from us! If money is not in your hands when an opportunity to serve with our resources is granted to us by the LORD, you will feel the pain of not having.
God wants us to serve Him with our resources, but if you do not have, how will you do that? It will be impossible. That is why it is important that we re visit some truths we have shared before on supernatural finances. We need to be schooled on how to walk in financial miracles as Children of the Most High God!
In God’s plans He wants every of His Child to be able to in miracles instead of depend on some prophets and prophetesses for supernatural interventions. God never designed that some be dependents in matters of supernatural living.
That is why He designed the Christian life to be a life that produce miracles for whoever lives the life. If you are not therefore working in miracles as a child of God but depending only on preachers or fellow believers in matters of miracles, it means the life you are living might not be a Christian life.
A CHRISTIAN LIFE SHOULD PRODUCE MIRACLES BY THE POWER OF GOD
Yes, a Christian life should be a life of miracles, signs and wonders by the power of the Holy Ghost. And if it is by the power of the Holy Spirit, it will not have deliverance inventions and magic attached. it will not be by the power of sorcery as we do see today in so many churches
The Bible says,
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18 NKJV
God designed the Christian life to be a life that leaves a trail of miracles wherever it is properly lived. He never designed it to be a life of people who follow miracles. The Bible says these signs shall follow. We are not the ones that are to be follower the signs by running after miracles, signs and wonder prophets or prophetesses.
The truth is, genuine born-again experience delivers one from living a God-acts-seeking life. Then encounters with the spirit of prophecy, which is the Testimony of Jesus Christ, delivers one from running after wonder prophets and prophetesses. It brings one to the place of running after God and seeing miracles running after you.
Yes, God’s desire is to have us in that realm where we run after Him and His wonders run after us. It is not to keep us in the place where we become vulnerable to the magicians called prophet and prophetess by running after miracles.
God made it clear in His word that if we say we are born again, miracles should be following us, we should not be the ones following miracles. We should not be the ones running after this man or the other man of God for miracles. It is important that we understand that.
If you have a pastor who is teaching you to depend on his prayer for a miracle, he is the wrong man to be under. He is not fathering you but emasculating and neutralizing you!
Fathering will involve the planting of miracle working seeds into the life of Sons. It will involve making them fruitful in the things of God, especially in supernatural living. And you are not fruitful if you still depend on your pastor for miracle prayer! He must train you to work in miracles yourself!
DO NOT FORGET, IF MIRACLES ARE NOT TRAILING YOU MISERIES WILL BE TRAILING YOU.
You see, our world is too dark to be lived without God’s miracle working power being at work in our lives. If God’s genuine miracles are not trailing an earthly life, especially in the area of finances, miseries will be trailing it. You see, if you are not schooled in God’s kingdom money mysteries, you will be skewed by the conmen and women in God’s garment. If there is any aspect of the Bible that we need true and untainted interpretation of today it is the aspect of money mysteries in God’s Kingdom.
Some preachers have this vision of smiling to the bank after each week or Church meeting. The spiritual and eternal welfare of the sheep is not their concern. They just want you to get miracles and they get your money. They are not interested either you go to hell or anywhere.
They do not care if you are unholy, wicked, brutal, lover of pleasure rather than lover of God, without self-control, sexually immoral or a liar. They do not care if you are living a Heaven unworthy life. All they want is that you get the miracle you want from them and they get the money they want from you. Period! No more no less. Sadly, the people love to have it so.
These are the things that made God to lament through His servant Jeremiah saying;
“For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:26-31 KJV
GOD NEVER DESIGNED THAT HIS CHURCH BE RUN THE WAY WE JUST READ IN THE PASSAGE ABOVE.
He never designed that a pastor’s concern be the miracles you need and the money he will get from you. He never designed that you be a miracle seeker but a true seeker of the one and only true God. He designed that you be driven by a passion to know Him intimately and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.
Our devotional text today is about tithing.
One major teaching about money in the kingdom that has been abused and stained with greed and covetousness is the teaching on Tithing. I did a three-hour session on that some years back titled: THE GLORY IN THE COVENANT OF TITHING. It has helped so many people all these years to improve their walk and talk with God in the area of kingdom stewardship through tithing.
If you take a look into the tithing mindset of people today, you will realize that many do not know that tithing is an act of worship that we give on the platform of covenant relationship with God. It is not a requirement for making Heaven as some preachers have presented it but a system of stewardship in the Kingdom of God.
It is God saying, “If you want to serve me with your resources, begin with ten percent of all I give you. I will respond by opening the windows of Heaven for you.” That is what tithing is all about. It is a kingdom stewardship, and the Bible says that it is required in every kingdom stewardship that we be faithful. It is the faithful that will abound with blessing.
When we tithe faithfully, we come into seven seasons of blessings that comes upon us over time. These where some of the things I taught in that session. There is a covenant in tithing that if understood, will turn our lives around. If we do not tithe respecting it, our lives will remain “tight” in spite of our “tithes.”
There are two things that govern things in God’s kingdom; dispensations and covenants. If we do not tithe according to dispensations and according to the covenant, we will not reap the promised blessings. We will still rob God of seeing His blessing in our lives, leave Him still screaming, “you have robbed me.”
When God say “You have robbed me” He did not mean you have stolen from me. He simple meant you have robbed me from seeing you blessed. He is saying, “You have not allowed me to bless you through your faithfulness in tithing.”
AND THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS IF WE DO NOT WALK IN REVELATION KNOWLEDGE OF TITHING.
I Tithing still required today? Some may ask! Yes, it is. But by the doctrine of dispensations and the covenant, we are not to tithe the way they did under the law. We to tithe the way our fathers tithe after the cross. And if you study the scriptures you will realize that after the cross, there was no emphasis on tithing because the people outgrew that level of kingdom stewardship.
They moved from laying down their tithes to laying down their lives for the LORD. That is how it should be with us. We are to tithe so faithfully that we move from laying down the tithe to laying down resources that are more than the tithe, and if need be, even lay down our lives.
Our devotional text makes it clear that God will rebuke devourers away from our lives when we tithe faithfully. Meaning, we will live blessed lives. When that happens, our faith will increase and we will move from laying down our tithes to laying down what is more than the tithe.
Yesterday, we spoke about having Heavenly portals opened over us internally and externally. One thing that opens portals over us, both internally and externally, is tithing faithfully as a kingdom steward.
A major highlight in our devotional text says,
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.
God says when we bring all the tithes to His house, He will open portals over us and they will generate a blessing that there will be no room to keep. But many have been tithing and have not seen this promise manifest in their lives. Like we shared earlier, the reason is simple; we tithe outside the covenant of tithing hence not reaping the blessings.
We do not follow the doctrine of dispensation and the covenant in what we are doing.
If you want your kingdom stewardship through tithing to be opening portals over your life then you must do it according to the doctrine of dispensations and the doctrine of the Covenant not according to what your pastor may have been saying.
Most pastors say horrible things to their members when it comes to tithing. They will say “you have stolen from God for not tithing” giving a wrong interpretation to the scriptures. Common sense should teach us that no one can steal from or rob God because He owns everything. You cannot even rob a president of a nation easily come to talk of robbing God.
That is why I tell people, if you pastor preaches that you are under a curse for failing to tithe, leave that church because according to the doctrine of dispensation, we are no longer under the law. He is taking you back to the law and teaching you to tithe the way they did under the law. Do not forget, under the law you come under a curse for not tithing, but under grace you do not. The law of dispensation does not permit that.
There is so much on this subject that cannot be exhausted in a devotional. But I believe something have been said that if we walk or run with, we will begin to see financial miracle trailing us wherever we go or live.
As we bring this to a close, you must understand that where you tithe also matters. You do not give your tithes directly to the poor like they did under the law. In our dispensation we do not do that.
There is money you should set aside for the poor. It is stingy people that give their tithes to the poor. Your tithe under this dispensation is for a different kind of food in the house of the LORD; three different kinds to be specific.
One kind is the food of executing the divine will of God for today; the divine will of financing the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom and discipling the nations.
So, you must bring it to the house of the true LORD not a synagogue of Satan called house of God. It is a true house of God that preaches the gospel of the kingdom or the doctrine of Christ and disciple the nations. Other houses preach the gospel of first fruits, redemption of first born, raising of altars of sacrifice, evil altars, and etc. Many others preach the depths of the hidden truths of Satan. You do not take your tithes there.
Yes, you do not take your tithes to a dead church either. No synagogue of Satan should have your tithes. Do not tithe in a church that is run as a political party, social club, place of theatrical performance, metaphysical cult, or money-making machine. You will be placing you tithes outside the hand of the LORD if you do.
You do not take your tithes to dead churches either. Sadly, most Churches that collects tithes today are dead spiritually. They cannot even minister bread and wine to their people. They just collect their tithes from week to week giving them just Oil to drink or serving them Holy Communion.
Abraham got bread and wine form Melchizedek when He tithed. He is our father and we should get the same where we tithe. Bread signifies life and wine signifies the anointing of the Holy Spirit or an outbreak of God’s move. That is the bread and wine you should get when you give your tithes nothing else.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY;
“Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;
And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all. Genesis 14:18-20 NKJV
