THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Thursday 9TH September 2021)

“Therefore my people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge; their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself and opened its mouth beyond measure; their glory and their multitude and their pomp, and he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.” Isaiah 5:13-14 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 252ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!

Welcome to another great day from our generous and kind creator, Jesus Christ. It is out of His mercies that we are not consumed for His compassion fails not. He has not failed in bringing to us timely truths to strengthen our faith in a chaotic world.

It’s indeed been a year of schooling in the things of God; a school of the Spirit, where the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. The wisdom that comes out of the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit when He compares spiritual things with spiritual cannot be quantified in human terms. They are always too weak to fully communicate.

But our God has been faithful in making is part of the wise virgins who took their lamps with extra oil to the meet the savior in Matthew 25. One of the central activities of the Holy Spirit is that we do not become short of His oil in our lives because of the season that is upon us.

You may be wondering which season, but its clear that we are in the end times. Even kids know that. It is therefore important that we look into some rumblings of the Holy Spirit for our age and time.

There is something Isaiah the Prophet Spoke many years ago about Syria that is yet to happen! Though the ISIS war would have precipitated the fulfillment of the prophecy. I won’t go into that now, but it is very important that the sons of God look up to our redemption in seasons like this. The Bible says

“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28 NKJV

A VISION OF A BALL OF FIRE

Whenever we see the manifestations of Bible prophecy, that is not the time to panic and become afraid. That is the time to look up and lift up our heads, because the manifestation of any aspect of Bible prophecy is a sign that our final redemption is near.

Few years ago, I had a vision where I saw what look like a ball of fire drop from the sky and consumed almost everyone on the face of the earth. Very few people where left! It was few weeks to our coming to Kenya. I concluded that God sent that vision to let us know the urgency of the hour and why we must move in fast into our New Apostolic territory and start doing His blessed will.

That season, I also saw a bit of what would later become the terrorist attack on West Gate. Then we had not come so I knew nothing about Kenya, hence nothing made sense to me. It was when the attack happened that things made sense. Then I saw a nation under emergency and the very things that later happened but it never made sense.

People have taken the corona virus outbreak and the vaccine to be the mark of the anti-Christ. Sometimes I marvel at the level of Biblical ignorance in the Church.

The Bible is clear on matters of the anti-Christ yet believers would not read their Bibles themselves and gain knowledge, they prefer listening to people lying about things that are very clear in scriptures. When you replace the written voice of God with the spoken voice of men of God, it will not be long, you will be in serious trouble.

YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF LIVING SPIRITUALLY IN THE GATES OF HELL THAT ARE CONSTANTLY ENLARGING THEMSELVES.

You do not replace the written voice of God, with the spoken voice of people you consider as men or women or women of God; especially on eternal matters. Instead of following what people are saying to you in covid-19 vaccine and the mark of the beast, it is important to go read the Book of Revelation, especially chapter 13, for yourself.

If you do, you will realize, even without any guiding you, that the anti-Christ will never show up until after the rapture of the saints. It will be clear to you that the mark of the beast is not a vaccine and will only be inscribed on those who are left behind after the rapture.

Here is a summary of the book of Revelation. Please use the summary as a guide to go read the book yourself. Stop limiting your revelation of Bible prophecy by listening to people who are looking for views and likes on social media. Stop replacing the written voice of God on Bible prophecy with the spoke voices of men.

REVELATION CHAPTER ONE TO THREE REPRESENTS THE CHURCH AGE.

Chapter four and five that shows John the believe in the throne of God represent the Church caught up to the Throne of God. Then chapter six to chapter eighteen presents to us the tribulation and the great tribulation periods, and all the events that will lead to the refurbishing of the earth.

The chapters also us how Babylon (the evil and corrupt system of this world) will be destroyed. Then chapter nineteen to the end of the Book, presents to us the physical return of the LORD to the earth, along with the saints, the New Heaven and the new earth and the final words of Christ as the Lion to the Church.

In the four gospel, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; He came as the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. In the book or Revelation, He is coming as the conquering Lion. If we lead our Christian lives with the revelation of Christ as the lamb alone, we will operate a dangerous theology, resulting in an eternally dangerous Christian life.

We will be living a life of sin and believing that we will make Heaven when we die. We will not be able to Balance the goodness of God with His severity. In fact, we will have just the revelation of God’s goodness and not His severity. And that is one thing that has reduced so many churches today to Assemblies of Satan.

It has turned believers into professors of the faith that are not part of the faith they profess. We have become a dangerous breed of hypocrites. The Bible says;

“They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being [d]abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.” TITUS 1:16 NKJV

Many, especially among preachers, are not just hypocrites but a very bad influence on the lost world. We live in sin, go to drinking spots, sire children with multiply women, live in perpetual adultery and all forms of wickedness, and still come out to shamelessly tell the people of God that we are still Bishops, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Arch-Bishops and etc., despite a life of wickedness. We twist the ways of God and present same to an ignorant generation that is speeding to hell.

When we see that the consequences of our actions are now affecting our business empires, we call churches, our fellow preachers will gather and come do image laundry for us, because theirs could come out any day too and will need same treatment.

We will put up a show of what we call repentance and deceiving a people who do not know the difference between repentance with conversion and repentance without conversion.

FRIEND, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REPENTANCE WITH CONVERSION AND REPENTANCE WITHOUT CONVERSION

Repentance without conversion is what you see today in Church that is why people do not truly turn away from sin. There is no true word to get them converted. You need a rebuke from the LORD to repent and be converted if you are a preacher Christian who lives in sin.

Jesus as the lamb will not rebuke you of sin. He will say nothing to you if you tell everyone, we are all sinners. We are human and make mistakes. That is why people who follow Jesus as the lamb do not lead holy and righteous lives. They lead sinful lives calling themselves saved. It is Jesus as the Lion that rebukes us of sin and brings us to the place of repentance with conversion.

That is why you will lack the purity and preparation to make Heaven if you do not have the revelation of Jesus as both the lamb and the lion. The book of Revelation, among many other books of the Bible, is key to helping us have the revelation of Christ as the Lion.

I feel strongly that many of us preachers are in a collision course with prophecies. It is going to be spiritually cataclysmic for our followers because they will keep wallowing in our deception and dying and going to hell. They are the real target of all these things.

I have come to discover that if we do not pay attention to “the rumblings of the Spirit,” on our spiritually reckless living now, we will rot when the things the Holy Spirit might be rumbling about begin to take place.

A major highlight of it says,

“Therefore my people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge; their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself and opened its mouth beyond measure; their glory and their multitude and their pomp, and he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.”

These are the very times this scripture was talking about! So many are in a very bad spiritual state. There is no intimate knowledge of God and these things we are sharing this morning in their spirits. Hell is enlarging itself daily and swallowing so many souls right from the Church using the utterances and life styles of some of us preachers. Can you image that?

If there is anytime believers should become so close to their Bibles, it is now. We must stop replacing the written voice of God with the spoken voices of preachers no matter their reputation. We must study the Bible ourselves until we become men and women who can tell the difference between the clean and the unclean.

Studying the Bible to show ourselves approved to God is a calling for all not just for Bible school students. You can not afford to make preachers your Bible. Our theology should not be your Bible. Let God’s theology, the Bible, be your Bible.

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR TODAY;

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

But shun profane and vain babbling: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:15-21 KJV
