TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 18TH MARCH 2023)
“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.” Psalm 51:7-12 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 77TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS!
This is the day the LORD has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. For the LORD is good, and His mercies endures forever.
It is another end of the week, and we are grateful. We are grateful for the mercy to be alive and to end another week in peace.
The Spirit of the LORD has been making us each day, using each devotional to shape our lives; and the breath of the Almighty has been giving us understanding.
The Bible says. “understanding is a well spring of life.” It gives beauty to life, victory in battle, dominion over life situations, and shows one what to do in the midst of any storm. So, if a man or woman live a life that gets understanding from the breath of the Almighty, which is an Old Bible word for the Holy Spirit, he or she will live a very blissful life on earth.
What kills us are the things we do to cut of this life-giving breath of the Almighty. He is also called God’s dispensing wind. That brings us to another dimension of truth on faith position for precious word or holy seed carriers.
Speaking about the wonders of creation, the book of Job says,
“He has placed an enclosing limit [the horizon] upon the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.
The pillars of the heavens tremble and are astonished at His rebuke.
He stills or stirs up the sea by His power, and by His understanding He smites proud Rahab.
By His breath the heavens are garnished; His hand pierced the [swiftly] fleeing serpent.” Job 26:10-13 AMPC
From this scripture, it’s clear that men understood that there was a boundary between light and darkness long before technology came to actually help us see it.
In the realm of the spirit, there is also a boundary between light and darkness. God will not allow the sons of light to cross that boundary into darkness, no matter the assault the enemy launch at them to make them cross.
You see, the book of Job is full of creation mysteries that helped us to fully understand what the book of Genesis revealed about creation. Some scholars believe that it was written about the time the book of Genesis was written.
OTHERS BELIEVE IT IS EVEN OLDER THAN THE BOOK OF GENESIS.
No matter who is right, it is clear that there was a generation that clearly knew how the earth was created long before Moses came up. But mankind needed to see it in the eyes of the LORD, the creator Himself, hence Moses came.
Understand that knowledge outside God’s revelation of creation will be distorted truth.
So, one of the things we see in Job chapter 26 verse 10 through 13, is another beauty of creation and outbreaks of GOD; the power of God’s rebuke, the smiting of Rahab (a typology of demonic powers), and something about the breath of the Almighty again. It says, “by the breath of God the heavens or constellations are garnished.” Then it said something about the hand of the Almighty too.
So, the breath of the Almighty is seen here as what garnishes, and the hand or arm of the Almighty seen here as the power of God; the supernatural of GOD that destroys the demonic or anything serpentine.
Strategically, its acts on the holy seed we carry, to destroy anything serpentine, satanic, unclean, or demonic. That is why where there are no carriers of the holy seed, the activities of the devil prevail unchecked and unchallenged.
In fact, in religious nations, the activities will be treated and mistaken to be the activities of God until a holy seed arrives. You see all that in the book of Acts, and the apostolic invasions of Paul. The wicked and sinful will not see anything wrong in what they may be doing until God’s holy seed arrives.
The successful lives of the profane, crooked and criminal at heart, will be celebrated and taken as the way to go until one with the holy seed arrives.
Darkness will prevail over a people, city, nation, or even a family until one with the holy seed arrives. For some of us, if God’s holy seed in the people who led us to Christ, and are currently teaching us the ways of the LORD had not come our way, we would have been long dead in our sins and crying in hell.
The holy seed is always the hope of a dying world not any preacher out there or a church out there. Yes, there could be a preacher or a church out there, if none of them is God’s holy seed, the moral fabric of the society will still remain unchanged, because the people who make up the society who worships in that church or sit under the preacher, will remain unchanged and unconverted at heart.
THEY WILL BE UNCONVERTED AT HEART BECAUSE, THERE WILL BE NO HOLY SEED FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO ACT ON TO TRANSFORM THEM.
There will just be titles, social functions, pouring of oil, collecting of offerings hundred times, a threat to none tithers, raising of altars and preaching of shallow water messages and motivation talks, that are sweet to the ears but not transforming to the morally bankrupt soul.
If you look at this truth, you will realize why God called us into ministry, why He sends missionaries to nations, why He gave the Church the great commission and conditioned it on us sitting with Him, the LORD of the harvest first, before going into His harvest field.
The essence is to give us the holy seed that His holy Spirit will need to act on, for what He wants destroyed in the kingdom of darkness to be destroyed when we get to the places of our assignment.
The reason for waiting, preparation before manifestation and all that, is also anchored on the same reasons. To implant the holy seed that will be needed by the Holy Spirit in the place we will be posted, to bring down the works of darkness and save souls.
That is why people who did not wait for the holy seed to be planted in them before going out to ministry, have always end up either having no seed for the Holy Spirit to act on, or carrying the seed of the antichrist instead, thereby becoming sorcerers, star gazers, diviners, and magicians on the pulpits.
That is why you read the Bible saying, “they went out from among us, but they were not of us.”
They went out because they never wanted to wait until they be endued with the holy seed from on High. Impatience is not a blessing some times. There is so much truth about these things but let’s get back to our focus.
If there is no holy seed for God to act on anywhere in the world, the activities of the wicked will be unchallenged, accepted and even celebrated. That was why Abraham was interceding for Sodom and Gomorrah in the pattern we find in Genesis 18; his idea was to have God spare the city if there were, 50, 45, and even five holy seed carriers.
AMAZINGLY, GOD SAID IF THEY ARE FIVE, HE WILL SPARE THE CITY.
Why? Because His Holy Spirit will act on the holy seed in the five, and use them to save the entire city.
That tells me, no matter how corrupt a village, city, nation, or even a continent is, five people with God’s holy seed can be used of the LORD to transform the village, city, nation or even continent.
Child of God, if you know how to carry, protect and keep the holy seed of God in your life active, you will be mightily used of GOD.
You will not need to tap into the anointing of any preacher, or do what they call, “I celebrate grace,” to be anointed or used of the LORD. You will be powerfully anointed and used. He will plant you in strategic places for His Holy Spirit to act on what you carry to restore the moral fabric of that place.
The devotion of a child of God who want to be used of God must be centered towards making sure God’s holy seed in his life is alive and kicking, not dead and corrupted.
How do we keep God’s holy seed in our lives alive and kicking, how do we protect it from dying or getting corrupted? The answer is simple; how do you keep the heart beating? If I am not wrong, the circulation of blood, by the power of the oxygen that is pumped by the lungs, keep our hearts beating. A doctor out there can confirm or refute that.
I know the air we breathe in, play a lot of role in keeping our hearts alive and kicking. That is how critical clean air is to the heart, and entire body system. The lungs are the engine room that runs all that.
What is the import of this analogy? Here is it; the holy seed in a believer is designed to be the heart of the believer. That is where his spiritual life is shaped and fired from. He will need to keep it beating by making sure the breath of the Almighty is not cut off from it.
The Breath of the Almighty is the Holy Spirit. Cutting Him off from our lives will kill the holy seed in us. You can now understand why David prayed, as captured in our devotional text saying;

IF YOU LOOK AT THIS SCRIPTURE, YOU WILL QUICKLY SEE THE PASSION OF DAVID HERE.
He was asking God for mercy, cleansing and restoration of the Holy Spirit, the breath of GOD, to his life. He knew what will happen to the holy seed he carried if that was not done. It will no longer be alive and kicking but will suffocate and die. It is like a child in the womb of a woman; it needs air to be alive and kicking.
One reason why the devil pushes us to sin, live a life of iniquity or trespass, is to cut us from the breath of the Almighty.
You find people living with who they should not be living with, sleeping with who they should not be sleeping with, and committing secret sins, thereby cutting off the breath of the Almighty from their lives, and suffocating in the spirit.
We are always convinced that God’s mercy will see us through when we are about yielding to the flesh, to commit sexual sins or any other sin. But we do not see the other side. The side of getting cut off from the breath of the Almighty and suffocating in the spirit after that.
David was cut off and suffocated by his sin of Adultery, murder, and having a child that is causing the enemy of God to blaspheme (because people where already talking), until Nathan brought the word of rebuke that sent him to the Threshing floor, to pray the prayers that we find in our devotional text.
Life becomes terrible when we suffocate in the spirit. Since the spiritual and natural prosperity of the righteous, depends on the breath of the Almighty that is running through his life, and keeping the holy seed alive and kicking, it is very important that we do not allow sin to take root in our lives.
IF SIN TAKE ROOT IN OUR LIVES, IT WILL EVENTUALLY CUT US OFF FROM THE BREATH OF THE ALMIGHTY.
Samson was bound, made brutally blind, and turned into a grinder in the prison of his enemies when he was cut off from the breath of the Almighty. But glory be to God, he was later rescued when the breath was restored, and finished strong, even though he did not finish well.
His life remains an example to us, that the enemy will always have us for dinner if we cut off from the breath of the Almighty and begin to suffocate.
I believe the message of today has been passed. I hope we all got it. Keep the holy seed alive, by not allowing anything that will cut you off from the breath of the Almighty to happen to you. That is what is right to do on daily bases as a child of God.
