TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 8TH JUNE 2023)
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”
“It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.” Psalms 127:1-2 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 159TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
The 2023 Holy Nation Prayer School we had last month, is still online. I urge you to go through it again. The intensity of the Word and the flow of the Spirit tells us one major thing – God wants us in the prayer room more than we can imagine.
The depth of revelation, the exposition on the dark prayer realm and what it does, and all that came during the school, testify of how much the LORD wants us to get things right.
Indeed, God is up to something. He wants us to find that prayer place, where divine destinies are given the life they need to be born.
Yes, the prayer knee is the best knee when it comes to the release of destiny. You will need countless times with the LORD to be all He has called you to be on earth. There is no middle ground.
You will need to pray, pray, pray and pray. Then go back to prayer, again and again, and make sure your daily life is built around your prayer knees. Talking about the things your destiny will need to be fulfilled, understand that your divine destiny will need countless hours with the LORD in prayer to be fulfilled.
If you would not build your daily life around the presence of the LORD through prayer, the pressures of life will influence you to make decisions that might ruin God’s program for your life. The release of destiny needs a prayer knee, not just any other thing.
An effective prayer knee will get your heart wired to the Throne of GOD and keep you fit spiritually; fit enough to be all that God might have called you to be. Friend, there are so many things the enemy does to make sure we do not fulfill our divine destinies. But through kneeling before God, we can prevail.
People who kneel before God, for grace to unleash their destinies, would not have to kneel before men for anything. Men will be the ones kneeling before them for help.
There are hindrances to the release of destiny that prayer and sound doctrine, will help us a lot. The first we want to bring to your attention is the image of jealousy in the house of our jealous God.
I SPOKE ABOUT THE IMAGE OF JEALOUSY SOME TIME BACK.
This image among other things, has made prayer a very powerless thing in the lives of so many believers. It has kept many from prayer knee encounters, that are capable of molding us into what God has destined us to be.
The image of jealousy in the House of a jealous God has kept many from encounters with the God of the House, even after being in the House of GOD with all their hearts. This image has replaced the love of GOD in the hearts of many with the love of money.
It has successfully made many destiny people to trade their souls, faith, and worship with money, or what money can buy.
Today we even have churches that are full of empty worshipers of this image. The image through its wall of deceit and sorcery, has enthroned another gospel in the Church. It has also prepared the ground for the Python spirit.
The python spirit is one of the enemies of people sent on divine assignment. It is an enemy of divine destiny that a life built around the prayer knee will prevail over.
If you look at the church today, you will discover that the python spirit has chained many in the present Church and its influence need to be arrested by the prayer knee of men and women of truth.
The prayer knee of men and women of apostolic and prophetic truths is far stronger and more effective in dealing with these spirits, than the prayer knee of oil carriers and users, water, salt users, and users of other deliverance inventions.
If you want to be effective in life, even in the face of these destiny alteration spirits or works of darkness, you must be filled with the knowledge of God, and have a strong prayer knee.
Do not forget, when Jesus declared that,
“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18NKJV)”
He was not giving a speech! He was making a declaration of war!
WAR AGAINST THESE SPIRITS THAT ARE POSITIONED IN THE CHURCH FOR DESTINY SABOTAGE OR ALTERATIONS.
What God is doing in the now is usually activated by what He is saying in the now. The sayings of the LORD and His doing are one; they cannot be separated. They work together. What is the LORD saying to us this morning? Our Devotional text has the answer. It says,
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.”
This scripture calls for strong prayer knees, to seek the help of the LORD in destiny matters. There is so much we can chew on it. The first thing you must understand is that if the LORD is not the one building your life, nothing about your life will be pleasant. That is why we are to be spending each day with the LORD.
If you seek to release your divine destiny, and you are not spending each day committing yourself to the LORD, you will spend your days toiling in pain. If you do not have an effective prayer knee, you will wake up very early in the morning and return late in the night, just to make ends meet. That is not the plan of God for our lives, hence making available, all things that patterns to life and Godliness.
God never designed life to be led that way. The Bible says it is vain for you to rise up early, sit up late, and eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.
What is God saying to you this morning? Your divine destiny will need a strong prayer knee to be fulfilled. It’s my prayer that God will use these words to further build you up this morning, and give you an inheritance among they that are sanctified! AMEN
