TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER 2023)
“Yes, in the way of your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; the desire of our soul is for Your name and for the remembrance of You.
With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek you early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Let grace be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.” Isaiah 26:8-10NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 267TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS
We have seen God’s glorious deeds for 266 days, and today will not be an exception. I bless the LORD of sending a word on Spiritual Blindness to us yesterday.
Spiritual blindness is the reason lying prophets and heretic teachers are prospering. It’s the reason for the spiritual problems people have. There are interventions of God that are not possible until spiritual blindness is taken, and people begin to see in spirit and in truth.
If you are wondering why we have the LORD among us, understand that, the eye and ears opening apostolic missions, we are carrying out under Christ in this region, is the reason for the miracles and blessings among us!
Whenever people stand in our meetings to Testify of the great miracles God is doing among us, some will turn and thank me for coming to Kenya. Others will do same for standing with them in prayers. While some others will so appreciate me; but people forgot that it was not me, but GOD. Their eyes were opened by truth, and they now walk in His favor and power! Spiritual blindness is at the root of every problem in the lives of men today!
Understand that, following that lying prophet and sexual addict you call “my father in the LORD,” will not bless you. Anyone that lacks spiritual sight, will never lack terrible troubles. If your life is full of struggles, toiling or any ills of this world, it’s a sign that you are spiritually blind to what will change it. With these opening comments, let’s get into the flow of today!
We have been sharing divinely inspired thoughts on God’s mercy of late, and it’s my prayer that the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened. With the so many demonic backings we are seeing today in Church, and the lives of the perverse, it’s important that we bring a word to the righteous, who are not hook up to the demonic – a word of divine backing.
WHEN WHAT IS FALSE, BUT NOT TRUE SUCCEEDS, THE BIBLE CALLS IT “THE PROSPERITY OF THE WICKED.” IT WILL DESTROY!
God does not back falsehood, or anything that is not His will. When you see Churches, ministers, marriages and etc. built on falsehood, or anything that is not God’s true will succeeding, it is receiving demonic back up!
Child of GOD, there are two kinds of backings on the face of the earth today – demonic backings, and divine backings. So many in Church today, are enjoying demonic backing, and calling it divine and its going to land them in hell. God has sent this word on divine backing today, so that we can begin to seek It, and divorce ourselves from anything demonic. Now, let us uncover the role of God’s mercy in helping us to unlock divine backing.
Understand that, when God shows you Mercy, in whatever you may be doing, you will begin to enjoy divine backing. It is important to note that because, divine backing is a blessing for those who are true, and are doing the will of God. The LORD will never release His mercy to manifest as divine backing in our lives, until we become true in our walk with Him, and step into His will.
For instance, if a marriage was not built on truth, or established within divine will, the couples will never see “God’s mercy” keeping them in perfect peace. Consequently, it will be full of unquenchable troubles, and all kinds of wars.
In the same way, if an economic life is not governed by divine will and truth, it will be full of toiling all day or night. And if you finally get the money, something will always happen, to eat it away. I have heard people call that a curse. Yes, financial curses exist.
THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR POVERTY.
But we must also understand that, if a man’s ways please the LORD, the curses on his life will be turned into blessings. I think the real curse in people’s lives, is not the presence of the curse itself, but the presence of spiritual blindness, and the absence of divine backing!
The reason for toiling all day or night and yet not coming out well economically is simple – we are not living our economic lives in symphony with divine will and ways. Divine backing is the missing ingredient in the life of anyone suffering from any form of economic hardship.
It is the missing link in the life of anyone who may be having any of these questions;
1. What in the world is happening to me that I am failing like this?
2. What am I not doing right in this ministry, marriage or business that is killing it?
3. Why are things no working for me?
Sadly, most preachers blame these things on curses and evil foundations, consequently bringing people into the realm of demonic backing! When the demonic back them for a season, it will begin to breed worms in their lives and they will begin to have more troubles after a while.
They are blind to the things of God hence receiving the things of Satan from the preachers. I reiterate again that, the real curse in anyone’s life, is not the presence of the curse, but the presence of spiritual blindness, and the absence of divine backing. Nothing else!
I have come to realize that your “Christian mouth” may be full of prayers, positive confessions, and your hands full of giving, but your life will still be full of troubles if you are blind and if there is no divine backing in your life.
That is why I teach that one must first secure divine backing and spiritual sight, through teachings and living a life of obedience, before even opening his mouth in prayers or confession of faith to request for blessings and break through. Life will remain negative (in spite of being positive) if there is no spiritual sight or divine backing. And like we shared earlier, divine backing is a child of God’s Mercy released upon a life that is in symphony with divine will, truth and ways.
A generation that wants to spend their days enjoying God’s mercy, must learn to spend their lives within His will, truth and ways. Talking about divine will and ways, I remember dedicating an entire month on that in one of our devotionals. God’s mercy cannot be released to back us in things that are not God’s will or done in His ways. God’s mercy does not manifest in lives that are doing things their own ways.
The church must understand that. We must understand that because of His just nature, God does not release mercy on people who are doing things in their will and ways. That is why you cannot find Him pouring His mercy on the wicked. The only thing God does to the wicked is to ask them to repent, and if they do, you will find Him releasing His great mercies and grace upon them.
THERE WILL BE NO SIGNIFICANT MOVE OF GOD IN THEIR LIVES.
The only act of mercy you see God pour on the wicked, especially after refusing to repent, is the restraining of His Spirit not to judge them, and the release of His word that keeps urging them to repent. He does not show them mercy by solving any problem in their lives that is rooted in personal wickedness.
For instance, here is a man or woman with another person’s wife or husband having troubles and trusting God for mercy to solve the problems. The truth of the matter is, God will never do that. God will never do that even if you give the greatest offering in Church or do the longest fasting.
He will never do that because He is a just God! He does not justify the wicked. In fact, if you find any miracle happening to solve the problems of such people, it is from the enemy; to keep the people on paths of eternal damnation. We must first repent of our evil ways, and return back to Him, before we can secure His great mercies. That is one lesson you can glean from the story of the prodigal son. He did not remain in the land of his rebellion and sin when he needed mercy. He returned to the father before he secured mercy.
Many of us do not return yet we want GOD to have mercy on us. You find people in their pools of sin and sorrows, crying unto God to have mercy on them, and take away their sorrows. It does not work that way. They will never secure it. That is why the message of repentance is what all suffering sinners need to hear and walk in, to be free from their sufferings. Not enemy killing, curse breaking, altar raising, altar silencing, traveling to village to uproot this or that, going to this or that mountain to pray, or seed sowing gospel.
Until the sinner repents, he stands UNJUSTIFIED before GOD. Justification by faith is a child of repentance from dead works, not a child of reciting the sinner’s poem called “sinners’ prayer.” It is a child of renouncing the sinner’s life, through prayer and daily pursuit of God, His will, and ways.
I BELIEVE THE LORD HAS SPOKEN TO US THIS MORNING.
In conclusion, understand that our Lives will be full of miseries, if we do not have spiritual sight or divine backing at the center of them; and divine backing is not a child of empty prayers, carnal fasting, or senseless giving. It is a Child of God’s Mercy. God’s mercy, secured through repentance, or the pursuit of God, His will, and His ways.
Understand that God’s significant mercy, is not a blessing Heaven places on everyone. It is a blessing Heaven releases on those who have repented of their sins. In other words, God does not have mercy on the wicked. The Bible made it clear that, He is angry with the wicked every day. Not merciful on them!
I am yet to see a place in scriptures where God spoke kindly to the wicked and all those who take delight in living in wicked ways. His just nature will never let that happen. He is merciful but at the same time just!
So, truth and mercy must meet together for lives to experience divine backing. Repentance activates His Mercifulness not to give us any judgment we deserve. Not repenting activates His just nature to give us what we deserve. Sometimes, correctional judgments are released even while we are alive because if His judgments are not on the earth, the inhabitants of the world will not learn righteousness!
That brings us to our devotional text this morning. A major highlight of it says,
“For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Let grace be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.”
It’s my prayer that GOD use this word to sustain you in your walk and talk with Him so that you will not be found following the counsel of the wicked, standing on the ways of sinners or sitting on the seat of the scornful. In Jesus precious name! AMEN!

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
